This eufy SoloCam E30 is an outstanding outdoor security camera. Setup was quick and easy and the 2K video quality is impressively sharp—even at night. The built-in solar panel keeps it fully charged so no need to worry about battery maintenance. Motion detection is accurate and I love that there are no monthly fees for video storage.It’s a solid, smart investment for home security. Highly recommended to quite a few friends who have bought and installed trouble free !

This really is a great camera, easy to setup, connects to WiFi without any issues, comes with all of the cables, screws etc and a really convenient sticker for marking the drill holes.Is solidly built, feels like a decent well put together product.Works well with the app, I particularly like the panorama feature where the camera takes a number of snapshots of your environment that you can then tap to go straight to.Also really impressive is how switches from night to colour. No evidence of lag or image stuttering.Paired it with a 128gb microsd card so loads of storage.Only one negative point is how easy it is to take the camera off the bracket, so when mounting ensure it’s a decent height up so nobody relieves you of it!Best of all no subscription, so a camera with decent features, easy to share and so much better that many of the other big name companies.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great camera for the price I got it for on prime day. It was very easy to install & set up. It is also easy to use via the app & the app is straight forward also. It is quick to recognise movement & responds quickly to AI tracking as shown in the video. The solar panel works well & I have had the camera for 2weeks & have never seen a low battery so far. You get an extra lead if your solar panel isn't connected to the top of the camera so it's always pointing towards the sky. There are lots of review videos on YouTube and I would recommend checking these out first (like I did)

I was looking for a new camera for my back garden to replace my rather old non-solar one. My checklist included no subscription, pan and tilt and integrated solar panel for aesthetics. This ticked those boxes with the added bonus of AI tracking all at a reasonable ninety pounds at the time. Being EUFY was a bonus as I already have a doorbell of this brand so I could just add it to the app. Note I don’t have the Homebase nor do I have plans to buy it in the near future.I charged the device and inserted the micro SD card from my old device before setting up. I did have trouble with the initial wifi connection as for some reason it wouldn’t take my saved router password but did when I entered it manually. It picked up and formatted the SD card ok. Mounting was pretty straightforward with good instructions though adding the panel to the top was very fiddly no thanks to my big mitts. Look out for the tiny screws in the bag as you will need those. My one criticism of this setup is the rather weak plastic mount which could quite easily be pulled off the wall (if reachable) and that’s your camera and footage gone.After a few weeks I am happy with this device though as it is a big improvement on my old setup. It looks more professional and the slightly creepy tracking is great, it’s as if a belligerent security card in a darkened room is actually watching you. It definitely adds to the psychological deterrent if you ask me as well as producing more useful footage. It’s quite a grey day today and despite being westerly facing I can see the battery charging too which is reassuring. The app works well and it’s nice to have it integrated with my doorbell so I’m not swapping between them. I can easily snooze both devices if I’m in and out of my gardens.So overall I’m happy with this device (apart from the rather weak wall mount) that gives me peace of mind when I’m home or away.

Image is great, app is amazing compared to others I've used. The scrolling is abit slow but I just use presets so that helps out. Had it installed a month now and no big issues. Been holding up great in the weather I've got them hard wired in but I use the solar panel on my other eufy camera and keeps charged 100% everyday so I bet it would work great with this one too

Eufy cameras were recommended to me by a friend. Balanced precariously on a ladder, I drilled the required holes and fitted the mount for the camera. Then came the part not in the instruction booklet. I downloaded the app and created a QR code on my phone. The camera read the code and attempted to connect to my wifi. Several attempts, all unsuccessful. Turns out the camera is not compatible with our 5G wifi (requires 2.4). Obviously, if this had been made clear at the outset, I wouldn't have made the purchase. Who knows, it could well be a wonderful camera.

So far the camera has been great and really good value for money with the functionality it has. Easy to set up too. Unable to comment on solar charging during the winter. We bought a micro sim for the camera to be able to store images but you can buy storage via EUFY if preferred.
