Needed it because the Sony one supplied doesn't last long enough if using the camera all day, or if you forget to charge the battery. This was good value and is as good as the Sony original if not better, so far does the job. Good quick delivery and reasonable price.

Cheap quality and waste of money

Body of battery minutely oversize forcing open my Sony battery door. A camera latch fault but made worse by this slightly oversize battery.

Ordered 3 September, arrived 7 September, can't fault the delivery time, especially when sent from Belgium! I understand UK companies aren't allowed to send lithium batteries through the post, not 100% sure why though.It came in a nice little plastic case, a bit like the ones memory cards come in, so it was well protected in the jiffy bag. Put it straight in my camera and it registered fully charged. I left the camera on slideshow mode and the battery lasted about 3 hours. Now the battery is on charge and seems in all respects to be performing exactly like the original Sony battery.The only slight issue is that this battery has a plastic cover wrapped all round it except at the top and bottom, unlike the original Sony battery which just has stickers front and rear. This seems to make the replacement battery a little tight when inserting and removing from the camera. But this is not really an issue at all, it just feels a bit different and needs a little bit more of a push.Well worth £5.99 inc postage. I know people reckon that non-Sony batteries are not as good, and this one may not take as many recharge cycles, but I object to paying £15 - £25 for a 'genuine' Sony product, (in fact Argos advertise Sony NP-BN1 batteries at £33.49!), especially when it was probably made in the same factory in China as this one! OK, the Sony battery probably has to pass much more stringent quality control checks, but is that worth paying more than 3 times as much?You pay your money and take your choice, but I'm happy with this one.

Power ran out very quickly

Yep - works well and fits into my camera just perfectly. Holds it's charge well over a ski holiday. Not a lot more I can say but seems to be a good deal so far
