I love these sheets!
I have been looking for months for quality sheets for my new king sized bed. All of the local Department Stores only carry California King sized sheets so I was forced to purchases sheets online. This is difficult since I want to feel the sheets before buying since I am very particular about my sheets. I was expecting to pay at least $150 to get the sheet quality I was required.I read the good reviews these sheets received and decided to try them. After all, I could return them if they didn't feel the way I expected. I was very pleasantly surprised!Look:I bought the Smokey Blue and I love the color. It is very rich. The sheets are crisp, have a slight sheen and look very expensive. The stitching at the top is pretty and gives the sheets an elegant look.Size:They are a nice large size that fit my pillow top mattress with room to spare. My husband uses a foam wedge under his pillow and the sheets even fit over that and still went over the corner of the mattress. The fitted sheet will fit over any king mattress easily. The flat sheet is also bigger than average. I am able to fold down a wide section at the top and still have plenty of sheet to fold in at the bottom.Feel:The sheet feel heavenly!!! I love crawling in them at night and rubbing my legs against the soft sheets. They are very silky. I have paid over $150 for sheet sets in the past and these sheets are so much nicer than even those. I can't believe the price of these for the quality received! I am going to order another set in Plum!!I haven't washed these sheets yet and if needed, I will update this review when I do. But, with the quality of these sheets, I am not too worried about washing them. These are quality sheets at a fantastically low price!!

Pinzon King set in Maize
Beautiful set of sheets, fit our King bed with thick mattress very well. I've been married 48 years, so have bought many sheets and ended up with some I would never again purchase. These all-cottom 400 count Pinzon sheets, however, I will definitely buy again. If there is a downside, it is only that they don't come out of my dryer with no wrinkles (front-loader LG washer and dryer set), but if I wash and dry them on the PermaPress cycle (warm water wash) and then grab them out of the dryer as soon as it stops, these sheets have very few wrinkles.I like to make up a neat looking bed, with our sleeping pillows leaning against the headboard behind decorative pillows with shams and toss pillows, so a bit of the pillow cases are visible when the bed is made up. So I do the old-fashioned thing and I steam iron the pillow cases. That step is not really necessary because they are not 'that' wrinkled, but these cases are so nice that it is almost a pleasure to iron them.If you like an ultra high threadcount, silky sheets that are lightweight, you probably won't like these sheets, but the 400 thread count is high enough for me, and the cotton used is high quality, thus does not create much if any lint. The fabric has some nice 'body' and more weight than most sheets and feel very good to sleep on. There is a woven thread stripe that makes it easy to see the right direction to put on the all-around elastic bottom fitted sheet. I have been using and laundering these sheets for several months and am very pleased.

Just like good old fashioned percale sheets.
I have owned these sheets now for 15 months. I waited to post my review to have time to see how these sheets fared in the long run. Let's face it; you may like something for the first week you have it, but two months later, you can't get rid of it fast enough.I grew up with classic percale sheets. They lasted a long time, and they were a good value. Mine lasted long enough that I got quite the wake up call when they wore out 15 months ago. I read the reviews for the new sateen sheets; in addition to lamenting at the loss of percale, everyone was skeptical regarding how long sateen sheets would last. These sheets were on sale, and it seemed like a good place to start, so I bought in.When my sheets arrived, I opened up the package and washed them according to manufacturer instructions. I wasn't overcome by any smells when I opened the package, and when they came out of the dryer, they smelled like my fabric softener, so if there was a smell, it went away in one wash. The fitted sheet slipped right on my pillow top mattress, and there was an inch of fabric at the bottom where the elastic was that tucked right under the mattress the way it was supposed to be. I've had no problems with the edges pulling up, and no elastic entangled feet in the morning. The top sheet and pillow cases are generously sized as well. After 30 or so washings, there has been no shrinkage and no pilling. The set has seemed to fade a tiny bit, but the whole set is fading at the same rate, so there's no tye-dye effect. (Disclaimer: I suspect the fading may have to do with my husband "helping" and washing them in hot water.) I worried that the fitted sheet would wear out first, as that's where my old percale sheets wore out first; not so! 15 months later, they still look just as good. These sheets also feel just like the percale sheets. They have a bit of weight to them, but not too much. They seem to hold in a bit more heat than the percale sheets did, but not so much as to become uncomfortable. I think they are a little more crisp than percale sheets were too. While these sheets have softened a touch since I purchased them, they are still more crisp than soft.I have also learned that the only way with these sheets is to fold them right out of the dryer. If they wrinkle, just re-wash, because your arms will fall off before you get half the wrinkles out even using full steam (thus 4 stars instead of 5).Overall, these were a good buy; I definitely feel I have gotten my money's worth from them, and will get more value as time goes by.
