I did a lot of research before buying this security camera. WiFi was important for me since I can't run an Ethernet cable. And powered was important so I don't have to deal with batteries. This handles it all. Other benefits is that no cloud subscription is needed. All videos are stored on internal micro SD card, up to 512 GB. The wide angle lens is clean with almost zero fish-eye. The video quality is okay. Close distance are clear and sharp. But if you zoom for someone across the street, it gets grainy. There's very little latency. Probably less than a second. The two way audio is also very good. And there's a. Option to record with audio. Also the built in night light is bright and works great. Lots of good useful features and all is controlled by the app. Overall this is an excellent buy and recommend.

A great camera, but if you buy a model with WiFi and connect it via cable, you unfortunately have to connect a power supply because this model does not work with PoE.

Great picture. Though I bought it because it was powered. What you need to know is that it has a power supply, so you will need to drill through the wall or plug it into an outlet outside (not the best) I drilled and the rest was easy. Works great. I like you can turn on the light when needed or talk when needed.

Update FYI to anyone having the same issue . I logged into my nvr and changed the setting in there for the volume of that camera and it so far has fixed the issue.I will continue to troubleshoot ….Just got my duo 3 and there is no sound. I have 11 other cameras set up and working great. I made sure the audio is enabled and the volume is up.I can hear my other camera audio just not this new one. I reset the camera and looked it over , there is no obstruction that I can see.Brand new should work out if the box.

I got this camera to cover the front of my house as part of a 8 camera system. It’s awesome! Great detection. You can switch between pet, person, car and any combo. Setup was easy and false trips are almost none existent. Going to get another one for that back yard!

great picture, easy to use app, the mounting is a little bit inflexible. some security concerns because these cams phone home for ease of use so the app can find them on the internet. my driveway is not mission crit so the lack of privacy was not an issue for me. there is no simple mpg stream like the older ipcams so you need to use the app.

Took down our $600 hunk of junk Amcrest camera and put this in its place. Love the 180° view. Picture is pretty decent. For some reason it was better before the update.
