HTC One A9 - Retail Packaging (Boost Mobile) - Carrier Locked - Opal Silver

Everything arrived quickly and as described new in HTC box. Activated on Boost. Just a hint: If you're bringing a number from Sprint or Virgin Mobile, send Boost a Private Message from their forums and simply ask Boost to do a simple "migration" from Virgin or Sprint if you want to keep your number from these carriers. This is the only way to port a number from those two services as you cannot do it online. Otherwise, if you're just adding a new number, or porting from a different service such as Verizon or T-Mobile, you can simply do it at the activation page online. Got my number migrated over with no problems and phone works great. I would also encourage everyone purchasing this phone to check out the Dot View cases for it from HTC. They're pretty cool indeed. Highly recommend this phone.

I like the new finger print scanner, definitely makes up for no boom sound. The camera is also spectacular and aside from those two things it's just a very basic HTC smart phone. If you're looking for a high end smart phone but can't afford an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy then this will be one of the better offers. Almost the same performance as their flagship M9 and me being an M9 owner also, I can't notice a difference really.

This is my second phone yes the exact same phone. If you follow my post you'll see that I go through a lot of phones I do not know why the gremlin bothers me so much but their last I do get to try many many phones and spend a lot of money because of it. After I would say 17 phones this year this is been by far my favorite I really really love this phone. The operating system is wonderful it's fast it doesn't take too long to start up it doesn't take that long to charge got a great battery by the way it's very durable sturdy great quality of the display. The camera is out of this world great editing video is perfect. I have never had a phone where I can do so many things to personalize it then this phone. I will never go back to LG or any other phone I'm think I'm going to stick with HTC I'm so impressed

Had it for 8 months and it worked well while I used it, would sometimes randomly shut off. But then it started dying at higher and higher battery levels until it would die at a hundred percent. Now it can’t be used unless plugged in.

Overall the phone is great for the price. I am a heavy user and battery holds up for about 4 hours til I have to charge it again from 5%. The charging is quick. It takes about half an hour to get at 50%My phone camera doesn't work however. It makes a buzzing noise and it doesn't focus at all. It's completely unusable. The phone also gets extremely hot during extended period use. I usually check stuff online and it gets really hot in 15mins. The signal also gets lost once it begins to overheat this is a huge problem when using GPS. Maybe it's just my phone and I won't be buying another one but it is a great phone if you use it very little and don't take photos.

This is a great phone for the price. The battery lasts my gf all day. Shes had it for a couple months now and it was a great buy.

I wanted to like this phone but it's really terrible. Pros - The camera is great! Especially the video. I like the finger printer entry. Cons - The battery, it drains from fully charged to dead in less than 6 hours; even on wi-fi and when I turn off bluetooth. If it completely drains without being powered down, it sometimes has a programing screen to reboot. There's something off about the keyboard, it's constantly miscorrecting things - I thought it would pass as I got used to it but it's been over two months. I barely have any apps, no games, nothing fancy but it freezes up often. I think it's a data connection issue more than a device issue but it doesn't matter if it's on wi-fi or data, there's always a glitch. WhatsApp does't get messages on wi-fi. It's just too many issues. Also, since it's not a popular phone model, the cell phone cases available are cheap and don't fit so I have to use it with no cover, and I'm too clumsy for that. I've tried three types of cases, they all press on bottons which causes even more stupid issues. Like not being able to take screen shots or the volume changing. I'm going to buy a phone through Boost Mobile directly. This was the biggest waste of money.

I had an HTC 816 before this cell and I loved it. I was afraid to get something until I read all the reviews on this cell. It's very nice and I've had no issues with it.
