PrymProfessional Xact Shears with Micro Serration and 21 cm Blades, Purple

These were perfect for cutting the threads when I do Hardanger. They have a very pointy end and are sharp right to the tip.

Fairly good pair of scissors, extremely light weight, they have a very sharp point but they wouldn't cut the high performance nylon silk, but then again nothing I had would cut that nylon without numbing and mashing it!After using these scissors for a while now, they are excellent! Better than I first thought, so I've changed it to 5 stars. It leaves a nice sharp clean cut, it just seems to be the high performance nylon beading thread that any of my scissors don't like cutting!!

use for tying flies superb scissors cut very well and easy, just using the tip is as it should be. Finger holes are a bit small for a man but not a problem. made in Japan by kai who make superior scissors I have 2 pairs of Taylor size. The only down side is the figure holes are made of plastic but it's the cutting that counts which is fantastic and great price thank you Prym and Kai

This is our 2nd pair of Prym Professional scissors as my son has a pair and now so does my wife. They are sharp, cut material easily and most importantly they have a flat edge for pattern cutting.They are great for tailoring.
