My lovely, thoughtful wife bought this book light so she could read in bed whilst I fell asleep - boy she does like to read. We were both surprised by how bright it is, though. The three settings are pitched somewhere between staring directly into the sun and observing an atomic test, either of which are in severe danger of rendering my eyelids entirely redundant. Needless to say I am currently fashioning a defuser out of a condom, as I am tired of seeing my bones projected onto the bedroom wall each night.

This light is great. I do a lot of reading in bed and my husband always gets grouchy because I have the bedside lamp on. This is perfect. I’ve tried other reading lights in the past and they either aren’t bright enough, aren’t flexible enough or don’t stay on the book properly.This clamps really well to the back of the book. It’s incredibly flexible and looks very stylish and cool.The light itself has 3 settings, so you can have differing sorts of light on the page. Personally I find the first setting a little too bright. I prefer the second setting myself, but you can obviously choose what suits you best.It’s really easy to charge and seems to hold the charge for ages. A fabulous light, this is definitely the best reading light I’ve ever had. Highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant little gadget! Light is perfect for reading and love the fact you can adjust the temperature of the light and doesn’t strain the eyes. Due to the sturdy and flexible goose neck it’s perfect for multiple uses, can be a little torch (I lost one of my earrings and I didn’t want to wake up the whole household to find it as I had look under the bed) and we will be taking it camping too. It’s small and can be really compact so I’ll also take it with me in my handbag. As I have few fellow night readers, I know their birthday present will be sorted with this.I wouldn’t be able to comment yet on battery life as it didn’t need a charge yet.If you feel it doesn’t have a grin or slips off the surface, make sure you take off the protective film that covers the grips. Seen a lot of reviews moaning about this aspect and probably they haven’t read the full description of the item or they haven’t noticed the shiny film on the grips.All in one is brilliant and I’m sure I’ll order more for some thoughtful gifts.

I do adult colouring and need to have my clipboard right near to my eyes as im not good with my eyes haha. This is so perfect, it clips on my clipboard which i use for my colouring as its easier. Im very happy with it. Cant comment on battery life as i havent used for prolonged periods yet. Its currently charging. But for now id say its money well spent.

Amazing wee gadget. I love it, you can change the brightness setting there's 3 different levels, it's so flexible but strong with it. Not fimbsy like another I had.I fully charged mine before used although it does come with charged ( not sure how much) and it lasts me a week, the brightness changes slightly and you know it needs charged again and bit where the charge cable turns red to let you know also then it turns green once fully charged.So good my son nicks mine to read at bed time so have bought him one of these too, he's only 11 and can be a bit rough on things but his is still withstanding the constant changing of position to get it " just right" for reading ..Love this highly recommend.

It clips onto the book I’m reading- it has a switch from bright yellow -normal bulb colour-to a blueish light -the saving eyesight at night iPhone type colour-and then a kindle book background option parchment type colour-Apologies for the non specifics thereThe flexibility helps with any type of angle you need- clipped on your nightstand/headboard/etcThe battery life is amazing! I use almost every night with my older books (1882-1902) as they have small type and I’m-well- middle aged- and I only have to charge the device once every two weeks!

Reading late in to the night does not do my eyes many favours and keeping the main light on is disruptive to hubby's sleep so I have worked my way through many battery fed book lights and never found them to last long enough which is quite frustrating. This book light has literally changed my life and so much so, I have bought two now as I wanted one for my best friend too. The light is USB charged so it takes the expense and out of order battery issue away. The charging cable is provided and it arrived fully charged.Three light options are on this with a yellow and a white and an off white light to choose from. I use the yellow in the day and the white at night as it is a bit softer on the eyes. The light has a flexible body so you can clip on and angle it otthe page with ease and it keeps out of the way of the book page. It is lightweight and does not damage the book either.This is easy to operate with a small button on the head of the light and I have used it for extended periods with no need to re charge for a few days even with regular daily use. I will definitely be taking this on holiday with me as I can't live without it. I think further birthday buys will be in order as it is the ideal gift for fellow readers.Photos to follow.
