Fit good in my application
this a/c compressor works great.

Compressor seized on start-up
I was in the process of doing an engine swap and I bought this compressor. I bought and mounted the compressor on June and now this week (October) I was finally able to start the engine for the first time and after a few minutes of idling the compressor pulley started to squeal and was very hot. Glad this happened in the garage and not down the road. Learned the hard way to cry once buy once.

Still working, no problems
Installed 6 months ago and made it through the hot Texas summer. Still working fine.

The clutch worked 3 times and failed with less then 50 miles on it seeing i just finished the build.

Product failed. Customer service poor
The compressor was bought but the install was delayed due to mechanic availability. Once installed, had a second shop charge system. Worked for 3 days and broke. Returned to shop, they injected dye and found that the front seal on the compressor leaked. It was now past the 30 day return window and was instructed by Amazon to call manufacturer. Called Universal Air Conditioner and spoke to the rudest person. She informed me that part had a 1 year warranty but according to their contract any returns must go through Amazon. She refused to help me. Called Amazon and was told only manufacturer can do replacement. Amazon refused to help me. Called UAC and again rudely told what their contract states and they would still not help me. Finally called Amazon and asked for a manager and explained that I was bring put in the middle and felt both parties were more interested in their agreements then helping the customer. Amazon finally helped me and processed a return for a refund. Would never buy this product again. Found a NEW unit locally with a 3 year warranty and a store front to go to if there are problems.

I DONT LIKE THAT COMPRESSOR DON'T COME WITH NO WARRANTY . IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT I WOULD HAVE NOT BOUGHT IT . know i hope it last

Works perfectly on a custom air conditioner system
Replaced a defective compressor with this compressor on a customer air conditioner system from Classic Auto Air which also has a serpentine belt kit from Eddie Motorsports. Too work with the Eddie Motorsports kit requires cutting off the top rear mounting point which was easily done with a angle grinder and cutoff blade. Was less than half the price as a replacement from Eddie Motorsports and works perfectly. Car is nice and cool now.
