When I'm filling these up at the gas station, I actually have people walk up to me and ask where I've gotten them all the time.
These cans are awesome! After years of fumbling with plastic jugs that swelled, shrunk, promoted algae growth, and had every fashion of annoying spouts with upwards of 5 pieces including brittle little plastic parts and springs, I'd had ENOUGH. I gave them all away to people I didn't like, and replaced my entire lineup of fuel cans with the Justrite metal ones. I've not had a single one leak. They don't drip when you fill them up or when you use them to fill something up. I never have fuel on my hands anymore. This is one of those products you'll kick yourself for not having sprung for years ago.Blue is the standard color for Kerosene, but you can use them with anything. The details:To fill this can, there is a sprung flip-up lid that opens to reveal a nice wide opening complete with a strainer. The gasket is a nice quality cork, and the spring is strong. The handle on the top for carrying has a separate part you grab and squeeze to open a valve to allow fuel to flow down the metal spout. Brilliant design. I've also discovered that to avoid spilling even a single drop, you cam tip the flexible metal spout upward after fueling, and squeeze the handle again to permit any fuel to drop back into the can, instead of on your driveway, or in your yard. When I'm filling these up at the gas station, I actually have people walk up to me and ask where I've gotten them all the time. The story is always the same, they're fed up with their junk plastic cans and want something better. I always warn them that these are a few dollars more, but they're worth EVERY penny.

Quality, especially the bottom rim
Bought my first one a year ago and it still looks new. Just got another one. Use tip: When placing a station's gas nozzle into the tank's filler neck, be sure to place the nozzle INSIDE the combo spark-arrestor filter-basket; the basket-like screen is narrower than the opening of the filler neck. I didn't place the nozzle all the way in so I spilled a tiny amount of gas.One great feature is the rim around the bottom of the tank. The tank sits on the rim rather than a flat metal bottom sitting on, say cement. My 4-yr-old Jerry Can had a flat bottom that sat on cement and it developed a pin hole—therefore I recommend that a Jerry Can be placed on some wooden spacers.

Well Made
The can is great. I own 2 more of these cans (red) that I have gasoline in. The only problem I have with it is the way it arrived. The outside box didn't have any damage but the inside box and can did. The pic I attached shows a dent at a seam, but it doesn't leak. The can is well made and the spout makes pouring fuel easy without spilling.

Get rid of all the old plastic cans, these are the bomb
I only buy Justrite cans now. Those crappy ones you get from the stores always leak when pouring. These are heavy duty, and the pouring mechanism work great. I have red ones for gas; yellow for diesel; and now also blue for kerosene. I see no reason that they shouldn't last for like... 50 years as long as I don't sit them on the wet ground and let the bottom rust.

Excellent manufacturing
High quality manufacturing in both safety and durability. Too bad it is expensive compared to plastic containers, but still worth the value just considering the safety factor.

We bought metal cans to do away with the cheap plastic ones, which was an investment considering the price per can. We use them for our business so they are in our trucks, but they don't stand up to any vibration(friction) 2 of the cans have already started leaking, one from the seam and the other one got holes in the bottom on hole after another. For the price you pay they should be made with thicker bottoms and seamed together considering its carrying gas and/or diesel. Then the spout wore out quickly and the replacements are too pricey.

Best can I’ve owned
By far the best gas can I’ve ever seen or owned. It was a bit pricey for me but had some credit cash to cover it. It has not leaked once (even when I turned it upside down and held there). I was tired of gas/diesel dripping from the plastic nozzles from their cheap cans.If you have the money, it is worth it.

awesome safety can
I needed a can that could be safely stored in garage. I use it for Kerosene.
