Talos Men's Cotton Cargo Short

I am extremely pleased with both pair of these particular shorts. Purchased two pair, one in Khaki and one in Navy. Finding this design, fabric, size and inseam (6"), and in these colors, on line or in stores, was almost impossible. Searched long and hard. Well made. Brass zippers. Velcro flap rear pockets (I don't care for buttons). Belt loops AND elastic waist (wear with or without a belt). Good length (not too long or short). Classic colors. 100% Cotton, not perm press. No perm creases! Dry just a little rumpled looking. Can be hand smoothed when still warm from dryer, or ironed smooth if that's your preference. When my old shorts wore out I thought I was doomed to wearing "Omar the tentmaker" stuff, in absurd colors, until I found these.

I love these shorts. Short inseam and very comfortable. They are the only shorts I wear.

Just the right length. Long "below the knee" shorts are too long and geeky-looking. These are just right. I'm not sure why there are so many folks on here raving about these shorts, but only giving 3-4 stars (can't satisfy some). They are also the same folks complaining about the length being "too short", but they are exactly as described (shorter length). These shorts are a bargain for the money, they hold their shape well and don't wrinkle in the dryer.

My husband was excited to get these shorts--he, like the other reviewers, prefers his shorts to hit above the knee. After other reviewers encouraged one to check the sizing chart, I ordered a size down. They are too snug and he hasn't worn them (although he won't let me return them because he hopes to lose weight, which we of course know may not actually happen . . .). Bottom line: I would have been better ordering based on the posted size (34) rather than the sizing chart. :(

Ordered these in a size 32 and the fit is perfect. Material is soft but doesn't attract lint. Plenty of useful pockets. Ordered a total of 5 of these. A 6" inseam at this time of year is hard to find - August - and these are true to size. It doesn't say it but when you order multiple pairs the shipping/etc is reduced for each item. Best is the price, what a great deal. This is worth taking a chance on!

I purchased these to replace some cargo shorts I have had for years that finally started falling apart. Was looking for heavy canvas for wearability, and deep pockets. My waist size is 36 but I can usually squeeze into a 34, so I figured a 36 would be a little baggy and comfortable. Probably should have bough a 38 because while these fit, they feel snug. I like a loose fit, especially if you plan to fill up your pockets. Overall, fairly heavy cotton canvas, shorter inseam (which I prefer) and seem to be well made. The velcro on the pockets I like....but my wife does not because if the back pocket flaps are no closed when you slide into her car..... the velcro snags her seat. Maybe back buttons would be better.... but what a hassle. I just have to make sure the flaps are down. Overall, nice shorts. Decent value. I'd just go up a size maybe if you like a loose fit.

The most important reason I gave these shorts a 5 star overall they fit and look great being 5 ft 5 inches most shorts are long these fit perfect the way shorts should fit today most shorts are long these are a true fit they feel and look great I purchased 5 pairs of these I feel nnormal wearing these not like the other shorts that are on or pass your knees I will recomend buying these to all the people I associate with E.S.

Since my prime days are behind me, my body gets more and more out of it's original shape.The problem lies, in a thing that has grown too big in the belly area.The hips aren't able to hold regular pants in place any-more and, here is the point, the stretch band worked into the belt line is absolutely welcomed.Also, because of the stretch band, it doesn't really matter if your are, 42, 42 1/4 or 42 1/2, it will just fit.There are plenty of pockets to store cargo, probably enough to make you go into your knees?All over, the product is excellent, we'll see after the first wash and a year down the road, however at this point, it seems that it can handle a year with ease.
