I recently upgrade from an iPhone 5 to an iPhone 6. This necessitated getting a new case. I was hoping that the Incipio Stowaway would be as great as the Incipio Stashback case I had for my iPhone 5. I LOVED this case. It was sturdy, well constructed, and super functional. I could stash my license and a couple of credit cards into my case and have everything I needed. Whipping out a card at the store or when ordering a drink was quick and easy due to the well engineered construction of the Stashback case.Sad to say, but the Stowaway doesn't live up to the Stashback. For one, the Stowaway does away with the "alligator jaws" design of the Stashback and instead has a pocket door in the center of the back of the case. This opens parallel with the phone, rather than perpendicular. This is great that it can double as a stand. But for its primary function of storing ID and credit cards, it falls short. The design is too snug to align the cards in quickly. You basically have to finagle them in very precisely in order to get them to fit and then close the door. This isn't nearly as effortless as the Stashback, where you can basically jam the cards sight unseen into the case without even thinking about it. Now it becomes a precise movement that requires attention and focus and a lot of fidgeting. Not good when you're standing in line at the grocery with 20 people behind you.The pocket door, while upon inspection, seems well constructed, the tactile feedback given when you close it doesn't inspire confidence like the Stashback did. I never worried about the Stashback opening up or not being tight enough. It felt solid and closing it gave a very satisfying 'thunk' that gave me great confidence that my cards and my phone were safe. The Stowaway makes me check it three times after I've closed it to make sure that it's closed and I always feel like it's going to pop open and I'll lose my cards. It takes a few tries to get it to seal well enough that I feel like it will stay closed in almost any circumstance.I know this sounds like I'm splitting hairs and appear to be an imbecile who cannot tie his shoes. But I'm telling you relative to the Stashback, the Stowaway is not as well engineered or constructed.Lastly, the texture of the Stowaway is not optimal for a larger phone. It's got a satin feel to it, so it makes it hard to hold at certain angles and you never feel like you have a good grip on it. The Stashback suffered from this a little bit. Incipio's silicon cases are amazingly well designed in this regard. They keep dirt and grime off but always feel a bit rubbery in your hand. This feature is particularly important if you're holding your phone over a gutter, sink, or toilet. With the Stowaway, I always feel like I've put too much moisturizer on my fingers and the phone is going to slip out of my hand at any second. All of these things add up to a 3 star product for me. It's certainly not a bad case compared to the junk you can find out there. I feel like it would protect my phone if I dropped it or it fell out of my pocket. However, given the other complaints, it also doesn't give me confidence that I wouldn't drop it or it wouldn't dump all my cards out of my pocket on the subway 45 minutes ago without me noticing.

Good capacity, great price, and accepatable lifespan
I initially purchased this case as a replacement for my wallet. I am on the second one, but the first one lasted me almost a year. The flap does eventually get worn out but despite the lifespan, I still prefer this case for a few reasons.Pros1- It holds more cards than most other cases. I carry 2 credit cards and an ID. I can fit a single bill in there as well but it does bulge out just a bit so I would say 3 cards is a long term maximum. You can fit 4 in here easily if they don't have the raised print. Most of the other cases I've found will only carry 2.2- It has a thin profile. Considering the fact that it can hold 3 cards, provide good protection for my phone, and it is still less than half an inch thick is awesome.3- The main body is durable. Even though the card carrying flap does wear out, the protective case itself can take a serious beating. My phone gets dropped A LOT and the case was unscathed after a year of abuse.4- The case covers the side buttons but they still work flawlessly. Other cases I've used that have protection over the volume and sleep buttons made it difficult to use. This case feels like I am clicking the actual buttons without any interference.Cons: I only have 2 things that bother me about this case, and they are pretty negligible.1- The back flap doesn't last as long as I'd like. The more you open it, the faster it wears out obviously. I pull my card out quite a bit and this case still lasted almost a year so for the price, I'd say that is a pretty small issue. I could feel when the flap was getting near "replacement time" but I was never worried about my cards falling out. Even once the flap broke off entirely, I could still slide one side of the flap in place and click it shut, and it would stay shut. I even used it for another couple months after the flap broke off. Not bad.2- The cutout for the headphone jack is a bit small for some cables. I only have one cable that wont fit in there (and it's a pretty old cable) so if I want to use it, I have to take it out of the case, which is a bit difficult. Considering the fact that most cables fit without a problem, I don't think this would be an issue for most people. In the end, I would buy this again (obviously since I'm on #2). It's one of the most inexpensive wallet cases out there, and it does the job well.

does what it's supposed to!
Not as perfect as the iPhone 5 stashback, but the best option for credit card cases for the 6.I prefer the hard plastic of the old case. I know for a fact that the silicone edges will be discolored soon enough due to jean pockets. If someone has a trick, let me know. I've tried to wash the silicone before in my old case to no avail. It does fit three cards - I can get two debit/credit cards in with an ID which is what I managed with the stashback. (I press the two credit/debit cards so that the numbers are facing each other kind of like a non-sexual 69 if you know what I mean. ) There's a nice little inner lip that keeps your cards back so it's not just falling out if in case the "lid" does fall open or if you want to use the kickstand function. It retained the raised lip design on the front which is god-sent because I never ever broke my screen and I think I dropped my iPhone 5 about two dozen times in two years. :)The problem with the design is that instead of just removing the bottom like the last one, these are fit flush against the back of your phone and there's no easy access corner to pull the cards off so I anticipate some fumbling if you want the cards behind the first one (THANK GOD FOR APPLE PAY AMIRITE?) However, I do say, the open back design is a highlight over the open bottom design of the Stashback because I had a black iPhone which was prone to scuffing, the opening action led to scuffmarks all on the bottom edge of my phone. I got the silver this time so I don't think this will be a problem (not to mention they addressed the scuffing issue with the space gray)Why no white and teal?! There's only two light-colored options and they're both gross! I like gray but gray and teal is a bit too "teenager" for my taste.

Not as durable as I would like
Back broke off within a short amount of time but the case part held up well. Holds 2 cards.

Slightly disappointed. Was just over 2 weeks for delivery and considering I live i a large city centre it's not usually so long. Couldn't track my order either for some reason. The case is ok but as other reviews have said "more bulky than expected. Hard to get cards out without long finger nails and the door doesn't close prop. Even with nothing in" won't buy another. The stashback for the I phone 5 was far better. Look into buying a different one in my opinion

I like the design
I like the design. There's enough room for a driver's license and credit card. The door still snaps shut after nine months of use. The problem is the coating that gives the case it's grip. It started to come off within a few months and now when I set it down there are always a few bits of coating left behind. It looks terrible. I hope they fix this for the next iPhone case, but they didn't respond to my question about this.

Great little case
Great little case. Nice size and weight. Love that the cards tuck in the back. I had an earlier model also by Incipio and liked that one better as the bottom hinged open, but as always, products get updated. This works great for my needs!
