This is the windlass chain that you're looking for at 1/3 the price of stainless. Good galvanizing, 8mm wire size, 24mm internal spacing fits the Simpson Lawrence (Lewmar) horizon 600/900 gypsy perfectly (and every other windlass designed for DIN766 or BBB). No more gear hop.FYI, DIN766 8mm has a 24mm internal spacing, BBB 5/16" is spec'd for 25.4mm internal spacing, and G4 or G43 ISO 5/16" is 26.2mm. The gypsy grabs every other link, so the tooth spacing is 48mm for DIN766, 51mm for BBB, and 52.5mm for ISO. If you have chain hopping your windlass gypsy, that 4.5mm (or 6mm if not perfectly in spec) is why. This chain fixes that at a fraction of the price of stainless.

I found several links on the chain where the galvanizing missed altogether leaving bare metal that was already showing signs of rust. As an anchor chain it would be nothing but a pile of rust within a year. Don't buy this product.
