My local Jiffy Lube quoted me $49.95 to change my cabin filter. When I made a face at the price, they offered me a $10 coupon. I initially told them to go ahead and change it. While I was waiting, I jumped on the Amazon app and found this one available with Prime for $14.88 . WHAT!!! I ordered it immediately. I had already watched a YouTube video of how to change the filter in my 2012 Hyundai Tucson a week prior so I wasn't worried about installation. It can easily be changed through the glove box without any tools so this purchase was a no brainer. I told Jiffy Lube to put my old filter back in.The item arrived on time and looked identical to the one I uninstalled. The filter was sealed in plastic and inside a pristine MFG box. There is writing on the filter edge and an arrow to show you which way to insert it. The arrow should point up, ignore the fact that the words are then upside down. The included instructions were basic images to remove the right and left stoppers inside the glove box (unscrew them) The printed instructions did not show how to open the "damper arm" (image included). Just pull these pieces apart so the glove box can drop down. Warning, you will want to take all the junk out before it spills on the floor.The instructions show how to open the filter access cover, but the photo is poor. Pinch the clip on the right hand side and wiggle the cover out of the hole on the left hand side. I have highlighted these areas they are pointing in the instructions. Having referenced Youtube already, this wasn't any issue for me. I also found using Google there are website with good photo images, at least for my vehicle. The filter installation was easy and reinstalling the glove box was easy.The filter installation instructions reference an estimated installation time of 18 minutes. I would say it took about 8 minutes from uninstalling the glove box to reinstalling the glove box – having never done this before. Now that I've done it once, next time will be 4 minutes tops. I’m pretty anyone – even those NOT mechanically inclined – can do this… at least in a Hyundai.I will never-ever be price gouged on a cabin filter. I will update my review if I find any filter performance issues. So far, definitely recommend this purchase and plan to purchase again.I was offered a free filter for my honest opinion.

I was looking for an activated charcoal cabin filter. After looking at several options, I went with this filter since it met my requirements, was lower priced than the competition, and had positive reviews. I am happy to report the product is very well made and fit my car like a glove. There was no "wiggle" space for air to get around once it was inserted into the housing. Even though I am very familiar with how to change this filter, I liked that the product also included a detailed instruction sheet with pictures. I don't think I have ever had that in any other filter I have ordered! I will definitely be back again to order my next replacement.

This was super easy to install. You cab do it yourself. Don't bother going to the dealer to be ripped off for something that takes less that five minutes to install.

Seems like a good filter, a bit sturdier than the last replacement I got. There was an explanation of the arrow on the side (it indicates the direction of air flow) which I appreciated, because it looks like I put the last one in upside down! This is the first time I have purchased a carbon filter for my car, and I am really looking forward to seeing how it does and providing an update. There was no trace of fragrance or other chemical residue on the product or packaging. The package included a number to call for installation assistance, that is a nice bonus.

I liked that it was a perfect fit and that I did not need to trim off a portion.

The Installer Champ cabin filter is thicker, heavier, and overall better made than the OEM paper filter on my 2011 Genesis Coupe. The density of the activated carbon in the filter mesh seems visibly adequate; road fumes still get into the cabin, so, I cannot speak to the effectiveness of the carbon, but I figure that its better with it than without. The installation was a breeze (make sure the arrows are pointing down), and the price was very reasonable especially when compared to that of the "cheap" OEM filter.Disclaimer: Installer Champ offered a free filter in return for my review; this has no bearing on the validity of the review's content.

I have a long commute to work than encompasses both country roads and city traffic. I have to spend a lot of time in the car, so a good air filter is important. This one seems to do the job very well. It's well made and installation was fast and easy. It fit my 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe perfectly. Do, however, make sure you make note of the airflow marking. Otherwise you might suddenly realize right after you get everything buttoned back up that you forgot to check and have to unhook everything again to make sure you did it right. Not that that's ever happened to ME, mind you. Uh uh. Of course not. No way! Not a chance. :-D

I received my new cabin air filter from Installer Champ today. First off, I noticed that it was reasonably thicker than ones I previously had from another company, and there seemed to be more charcoal and a denser fiber quality. It was a snap to install, taking me less than 3 minutes total. So far, this is one of, if not the best cabin air filter I've purchased. As soon as I turned the car on I noticed a remarkable difference in the quality of the air inside the car. And the additional 25% longer life is a plus! I recommend this product.
