Part of my laundry room makeover, these work great to hold my laundry sheets, my baking soda, and any other bits and bobs I have. Very nice quality!

They are very nice exactly what I needed

I noticed that other people who had issues with these seemed to be - for the most part - putting the wrong types of food in them. Many of the issues seem to come from storing acidic foods, sugary candies that are prone to melting, etc. Basically things that you probably shouldn't be putting in airtight, temperature-sensitive containers in the first place.I highly recommend using these only to store dry goods and things that won't melt or be affected by the humidity in your house. These are plastic, not glass. I've used multiple sets for two years, and they're still going strong with very little damage, and I'll admit that I've even thrown these in the dishwasher once or twice. There is a small crack in one, which was my fault since I slammed something into it.I will admit that I do use one jar to store fresh ginger, and the ginger combined with the high humidity in my area caused it to...sprout and grow out instead of rotting! Which is a little odd but helpful, since I always have access to fresh ginger now. Freaky.

I've previously used similar canisters and was happy with them, but they were lost in a fire. I ordered these as a replacement. They are comparable in quality and I'm pretty happy with them.I think they look pretty good, but my real reason for liking them is so I can see what's inside them without needing labels, and I know when I'm running low at a glance.Pros: They are pretty durable, and can take a little knocking around without shattering like glass containers.They're light weight.Lids have decent seals which make them fairly airtight.Good variety of sizes for various ingredients.Cons: They are fairly wide, and since they don't have handles, might be hard for someone with arthritis in their hands to pick up.Require hand washing to avoid warping/crazing of the plastic.Metal clip which holds the lid down feels a bit flimsy. For the price I was hoping for a more solid clip.Fine powder from flour, meal, etc. tends to cling to the sides of the container making it look dusty. This doesn't matter to me, but it might to some.

I've been using these containers for years & they are great. Easy to see the contents, keeps contents dry & bug free.

This is the best choice of canisters. You can grab them by the lock and easy to open. Good selection of seizes.

I live in the south and insects can be a problem. These containers seal very tightly with no worries, of exposure to insects.

Very pleased with these. I had been looking for this type of canister with easy to open lid. I bought one large one at a local $2 shop and wanted a smaller version for sugar looked everywhere found one but was cheaper to buy the whole set from Amazon -

Canisters arrived wrapped nicely in plastics. Would surely buy again when I need more. 👍

I liked these containers so much I ordered a second set. Re: some negative reviews here - they may seem flimsy, however I like it because they're so light. In the past I'd used similar containers but they were glass and so heavy. It's true also that the seal falls out; just as easy to put it back on before sealing the lid. I wash dishes by hand, so unsure if they can stand the heat of a dishwasher or not.Anyway, these canisters work for me, exactly what I wanted, good price, does the job, fast delivery.
