I purchased this for my 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata. First off the materials are very high quality feeling, I may report back if I have any issues as I go forward however for now this is my review. The first thing of note is that the Mazdaspeed Miata has the reverse gear in the lower right hand side of the shift pattern due to it being 6 speed, this extends out slightly further then the classic NB shift pattern and seems to cause the leather, at least while new, to stretch a little bit. This isn't a huge problem but did contribute to the slightly lower then perfect score. The other thing of note is how this boot fits with the retaining ring off the stock boot. To fit the ring on I for now have just placed the ring inside, pulled the leather, and put a small ring of tape around pulled very tight. personally I think the cut on the leather made the process a bit harder then it should have been as the stock boot had strips of less length that did not interfere with it being taped down as much. this isn't much of an issue either but for a rather expensive product it would be nice if it came with a plastic retaining ring of its own so I didn't need to pull mine off of the stock boot in case I ever want to go back or to resell.

I purchased the black Alcantara with Red Stitching for my Mazdaspeed Miata to replace a torn original boot. The fit was good, however, acouple of the original holes/tabs didn't line up well but I was able to make new holes to line up. This product will require you to remove the original top ring and glue it to your new boot. I was worried about gluing this and making it look good, but with some patience and superglue I was able to get it. The vendor has internet based instructions that are good. I would definitely recommend this.

Fits well, very easy to install. Installed on an NA Miata. If you fiddle with it, you can make all creases around the edge smooth. Good quality material, stitching is solid. All around great boot for the price.

The shift boot was great quality, but I ordered it with red stitching, but the one I got, came with black stitching. So I gave 4 star rating

The media could not be loaded.  It fit fine except it seems there is too much material and whenever I shift into 1st, 2nd, 5th, or reverse it rubs loudly not sure if I got a dud or not since everyone else’s seems to fit perfect or so they say in their reviews. I included a video to show the rubbing
