Terrible quality, a week into wearing these the soles are already ungluing themselves. In another week of just normal walking around and these shoes will have completely come apart. They look great but don't hold up at all. Polo needs to use some better glue or perhaps star stitching the soles and sides on too.

Since I just received these shoes, I can't comment on their durability, and I will admit that the mixed bag of comments here made me hesitate about ordering them. But I'm so glad I did! Right out of the box, they fit perfectly (I've never bought slip-on shoes before without trying them on first, but these could not be better), and they were even more comfortable than I had expected: I wore them for the whole first day and hated to take them off. Some reviewers here complained that these shoes don't offer enough support, but there's an important distinction to be made between these shoes and athletic shoes specifically designed for walking, running, or sports: that's just not what these are. These are sneaker-style casual shoes with a Polo flair; they're no more intended for running or playing tennis than a pair of loafers or moccasins would be. Keep that in mind, and you won't be disappointed. BTW, I like them so much that I just ordered a pair in white too.

This shoes are awesome, and everyone has compliments for them. I've had them at least a year now, and they deserve a cleaning. I hand washed with soap, then with bleach, then with Shout and ran through the wash. Now they are mostly clean, but still have small stains on the toes. Unfortunately the glued insoles came out in the wash. They are still trying, but I anticipate it not being an issue. If so, I'll just re-glue the insole.So given that I've had them so long and even ran them through the wash, I can say my pair didn't have the issue others mention with the shoe falling apart. I certainly recommend them. They're so clean and simple I wouldn't even mind seeing someone with the same pair.

Exactly what I expected, exactly what I was looking for. Classic style & fit boat shoe. I was looking for a comfortable, casual navy shoe w/ light blue accents & this hit the mark perfectly. I have a pretty wide foot, normally wear a size 10 but bought a half size up in these because of some reviewers saying the shoe seemed narrow. This was actually unnecessary in my case; although I recently discovered that Wide width shoes fit me best, these shoes fit comfortably all the way around & I could've just gotten my regular size w/ no issue.

These shoes are really great. They fit well, though I can see how some might feel they’re a little tight on the top. I’m used to the sort of Aldo-like fit, where they’re very thin and not very roomy on top, and these follow that design pretty well (a good thing, in my opinion). I wouldn’t recommend these shoes to *everyone*, but I would recommend them if you want good, affordable style on a budget and you have narrower feet. The arch support leaves a bit more to be desired for me, but it’s by no means uncomfortable. Overall, I think the shoes are really comfortable and the colors and style are modern and classy.

I wish these came in women's sizes but they don't. I converted the men's sizes to women's sizes and ordered my size and it worked. I don't like the shoelace-less look so I bought regular shoelaces and laced them just for a more complete, polished look. They're comfy and classic and cute. I wear them all of the time.

Polo by Ralph Lauren to me is about style. Say you have a Boat gathering, a Picnic gathering, or even chilling at the mall or with friends add that polo big pony cap and shirt and you're in there! Not your everyday shoe. Instead it give you that classy look for a casual occasion. They may not be actual polo but now tell me who will question as long as they see the symbol? By the way they're comfortable too!

My issue with this shoe is it's snug fit, in terms of how narrow it is. My foot is more wide than average. With a sock on, my size in this shoe is more snug than I prefer. However, the next size up was definitely too large length-wise (not width), and I had to return them.Luckily, I don't mind wearing this shoe without a sock, and it fits perfectly that way. I'm expecting that over time the show will losen up, and I'll have no trouble wearing it with a sock.Lastly, while this shoe is great in terms of looks, this shoe fits differently than the Polo Vaughn (which is virtually the same looking shoe, but with laces).

I do love these trainers. Nice and comfy. People have said where are the laces at it does look a little strange, but that what makes them look unusual. Incidentally, laces can be fitted if you like.

These canvass shoes are not Ralph Lauren's. They are imitation. They arrived in a broken box and after three weeks of having them, they are broken. The sole has separated from the shoe and they have literally fallen apart with minimal usage. I am deeply disappointed with this purchase and will be making a complaint to the supplier.
