I hate sanding!
I love this sander. I hate sanding. I have sinus problems which means I have to be very careful about dust, and must always wear a mask. But this sander has an excellent dust collection attachment which is very effective and really works to keep the dust down to a minimum. As you work through the sandpaper grits from coarse to fine you can easily change the pads in just a few seconds. This sander is a workhorse. I use mine for woodworking and find I can take off too much if I am not careful. I hate sanding, but this sander really saves on the effort it takes to get a wood project whipped out in no time. It's easy to use, has great features, a reasonable price, and best of all it does the job fast.

Good buy easy to use
I bought this sander for me and my wife took it immediately and sanded our kitchen cabinets and repainted them on her own. This thing has already paid for itself, I was marveled to see my wife just grab and start sanding, and she is not a crafts person(dunno what got into her maybe it was the red coloring). Overall, it was a great buy, super easy to use, the dust collector is great at collecting dust, the sander is great at sanding. Pads adhere with Velcro which is pretty typical and very easy, and they do hold, you can thank NASA for that Velcro later. I totally recommend this sander to anyone looking for a good random orbit sander, worked great at sanding cabinets.

Perfect for my current project and I'm confident it will be perfect for my future projects as well
I needed a sander in order to refinish an 8 foot desk and after reviewing what type of sander I should use (Belt, Orbit, Random Orbit) I went with Random Orbit because it seemed the most multipurpose and user friendly. I actually found this particular sander in Menards but it was cheaper on Amazon (at the time) so I ordered it here. I used the sander on the desk this past weekend and it was perfect and really easy to use. It came with one pad each of 80, 150 (if I remember correctly), and 220 grit sandpaper. After removing the old finish on the desk, I sanded it with the 150 grit pretty heavily in order to remove any leftover finish, then I used the 220 for a couple more pass overs as the wood stain that I bought recommended. After the stain, I used a spray on finish that said that I needed to sand the finish with 220 grit between coats, so I used this sander for that as well. I only passed over the finish once though as to not overly sand off the layer of finish. This sander was really perfect for all aspects of this project and I see myself using it a lot more in the future. And the clear dust collecting container was a real plus. I emptied it often anyway, but with it being clear I could make sure that I was emptying it completely.

Durable, yet too expensive to service
This sander has seen quite a bit of use since I have owned it, that said there are some things to note. The build quality is great, overall a sturdy little unit with a greatly appreciated light up sensor that allows you to see when you are in danger of burning out the motor. This is especially helpful when loaning it out to friends or family who may want to grind the sander into the wood harder than they ought to. The major issue is the dust collection on the back. I have used a bunch of Sanders over the years and this one tends to get the dust collection filter broken off. I have never had it happen to myself, but friends and family have busted these off a number of times. The major issue with this is that the dust collector/filter is just as costly as a brand new sander. There should be a cheap alternative that dissuades just tossing out a unit rather than being able to effectively service it. Same goes for the adhesion pad. Mine has seen lots of use and still has great functionality, but over time the fraying kills the pads and they are expensive to replace as opposed to getting a new sander all together.Overall, it'll last you quite a while if you don't kill the motor, snap off the dust collection filter, or overheat the velcro padding.

Great quality and experience for the price
I have been using an older orbital finish sander that takes sheets and wanted the convenience and versatility of the random orbital sander. I shopped around a lot as my price range is rather low and this one stood out - I am very happy with my selection. It works very well, exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to sanding now. Really.I am not sure about the pressure gauge as I do not push that hard on it, maybe good for stripping or shaping but I have been mostly finish sanding and this has been excellent.I do not think you can go wrong with this if it is under $35

2 bought, 2 broken
I purchased one of these and really liked it. The dust collection tabs broke, but I still used it. My husband used it, and it stopped working, I blamed him being too hard on it. I bought another one. It didn’t get a whole lot of use and worked when I put it away. When I went to grab it about three months later, it wouldn’t turn on at all. That didn’t make sense so we disassembled it. Turns out the On/Off switch was clogged up with sanding dust and wasn’t making contact. The whole interior was covered as well. We blew it out with the air compressor. It works now, but overall it seems like better sealed electronics and filter tabs would be helpful. Now I wonder if my first one could’ve just been disassembled and cleaned.

Great sander. Good results with little work.
Just upfront, the dust container that came with this never so much as got taken out of the plastic it came in. I hook this up to a shop dust collector. That said, there's rarely any cleanup after. Switching discs is super easy, and I'm getting fantastic results with minimal effort.Don't let the price fool you. This is a quality piece of equipment.

Sander kicks @$$.
This little dude is a go getter for an electric orbital sander. An air DA would be better for speed and power but if you don't have that kind of access to a good compressor then tbis is the way to go. Sanded 500+ square feet of concrete floor on my hands and knees for 3 hours. No issues. Took a lickin and never got hot. I was putting some pressure down on that 60 grit too. Nice little machine.
