Ray Mears at his best' as usual
Great stuff I particularly liked the south American vist learing things from the inhabitants The three showing Ray and us about the plants that cure if ill or bitten by a poisonus snake that will cure you without looking for hospital and antidote. Then amazingly Ray revealing the big circle of life' by showing the three inhabitants how to light a fire bushcraft style something thier tribe had forgotten how' and having to since take long distance journeys to the cities for matches and lighters etc. They where well pleased with the gift that Ray had brought back to them evident in there excited jubilations when gaining experience in lighting fires for themselves once more. Great stuff Ray" think its the best one I've seen.

Good to watch
Good photography and scenery. Some great tips and his passion comes through. Cannot really be dated with respect to the survival advice. This will not be for everyone as the "script" is (as others have stated) very repetitive at times.

Ray Mears _ Bushcraft
I love reading, and re-reading Ray Mears' books and I also love watching his programs on T.V. As a 60 year old "armchair adventurer" I simply love to watch any survival or adventure program and Ray Mears tops the lot. Having been born and brought up in West Africa (during the good old colonial days), I only wish I had had the maturity to learn the basic bush-skills the Africans had. I am now making up for lost time. Ray Mears books and CDs' are allowing me to do that.

Good series but not Fantastic
Good series. I just wish that Ray Mears had another adjective to use apart from 'Fantastic', which he uses for everything. No superb, excellent, wonderful, amazing, magnificent etc etc, just the word Fantastic over and over again. Having all 3 of this series, I got sick to death of hearing it.
