Excellent cable

I am not convinced this is a copper cable as the cores are silver in colour - possibly aluminium.However, still giving 4 stars as it meets my application requirement - deliver 12V DC to a garden fountain pump.Physically the construction is good and definitely suitable for outdoor use with the usual safety precautions - I ran it through plastic corrugated flexi-pipe.Doesn't appear to be any significant voltage drop over the run as the pump is running perfectly.

Have used this for some 12v lighting int he shed off a solar circuit and this has made things very easy. The wire is of a great quality, and has a nice feel to it without being too stiff or having a bad memory. The wire is rated to 300v 5A so is ideal for any 12v circuits and lighting, such as in my case, but has a wide use-case. Would be ideal for vehicle and some caravan wiring too at this rating. The price is about average for the length of wire you get, the quality is great though and better than a lot of alternatives at thid price range. 25ft is an ideal spool to throw in the repairs box and leaving until you nead it, so is a good size for storing.Overall very happy. It performs as youd expect and is functionally easy to work with.

ENERJOUR 20AWG 2 Core Cable.7.62 metres of good quality flexible 2-core cable.Although advertised as being suitable for 12V and 12V applications the cable sheath is marked 300V making it capable for use on lighting circuits. 20AWG can handle 3.5 Amps continuous load.The red and black wires are tinned copper which will make soldering easier.Also included is a pack of heat shrink sleeves and tie wraps which are always useful to have.I will be using the cable on lighting projects and I can recommend it.

Rated at a maximum of 5 amps this is a good cable. I used it for some LED lights under some decking and they work fine. The sheathing is strong and flexible enough to feed wherever you want and the core strands seem well made and it’s all very strong with a good connection.As I e only used them with LED lights the amps are ridiculously low but no issues at all. Good value and good quality cable.
