Does the job well. Robust.

Bought these as a gift for someone else.I have a pair from another brand that I have had for a long time but when I received these I was really impressed with the build quality.Having compared these to a similar ones from a well known brand, I was impressed how similar these are in quality and design.Can't comment on longevity but they seem well made and function as expected. It always seems to be the wire gripping jaws that fail on these.Overall these offer great value for money and are very comparable to the more expensive branded ones.

A great upgrade to stripping wires with a Stanley knife and luck,The tool feels sturdy and has been used several times, the only negative is the grip does tend to slip after a few uses and need re tightening not a problem for casual DIY but would be more frustrating if needed a lot.

Does the job, sometimes it does end up cutting the wife which kinda screwed me over but good for the price

Quality is good, but it doesn’t work properly with flexible multi-core cables, it cuts it apart

I had a small rewiring job todo in the loft and thought this stripper would take most of the laborious work with stripping the cables. It does work to a certain extent but does not strip more then one wire at a time i.e red and black, it misses one all the time even if the pressure is increased with the thumb screw, so I had to strip each wire individually each time. But it did strip the outer sheath from a 1.5m cable.I suppose you get what you pay for. But Im disappointed after all the positive comments. If I was going to use it on a big job I would be really cheesed off.

I like it. I have tested it on various fabrics but have not yet had the chance to use it in a sewing project, but looks good from testing I've done. It cuts neatly and the pinked edges do not fray. Am pleased with it and it arrived well packaged and on time

I use Jersey fabric quite a lot in my 'creations' - through this these shears are loath to cut. No biggy, I shall use more cottons etc. a lovely hefty pair of shears. Would recommend and would give 5 stars if not for the Jersey but then that's not the manufacturers problem.
