Bought this to replaced my daughter's laptop/school book bag. When I got it, well.. this is not gonna work for what she needed it for. She shove everything she need in school in her backpack where it tend to bulge and gets really heavy. But, it is not a downturn for me, it has a descent material and casual look, padded laptop sleeve, can fit a pair of outfit for a one day trip in half compartment and fit all her other small necessities on the front pocket. Perfect carry on size.

I can't yet speak to how durable it is, but Kenneth Cole historically produces well made products, so I expect it to hold up very well. This backpack is much roomier than I thought it would be from the picture. Plenty of room for computer, tablet, cords, pens, passports, etc. Also, since the airlines only allow 2 carry-on items, my purse (a Baggalini travel purse that's full of stuff) fits in the bottom of the large compartment and there's still lots of room above for night clothes and underwear, in case of being stuck overnight due to cancelled flights. I wish the side pockets were large enough to hold a good water bottle, but I've decided I can carry that inside the backpack. The Kenneth Cole Reaction Sophie backpack does have side pockets with enough room for water bottles, but it's not as classy looking as this one, so . . . I really like this backpack.

I looked at many backpacks to use for my daily commute in NYC. I loved that this one was way under $100 and now that I’m using it I’m so glad I bought it! It has great interior pockets and exterior pockets (two on either side for water bottles and umbrellas!) I have used other backpacks and totes and this bag keeps my stuff more organized. I also like that the straps are thick like a regular backpack which helps distribute the weight. The laptop portion in the back is useful for my 15-inch MacBook and papers. It fits a lot but doesn’t feel bulky like I’m a kid going to school. Recommend this! Haven’t traveled with it yet but if it can work on the subway I don’t see why it wouldn’t work traveling further. I got navy and I think it looks nice and sophisticated. The gold zippers are kind of too shiny for me but it is not a big deal.

This backpack looks very beautiful and professional. It is the perfect medium sized bag. It even holds my lunch box when I turn it sideways. I needed a bag big enough to hold most of the items needed at work including my laptop to keep me hands free on my walk to work. I took one one star off because the bag has several frayed thread pieces. I am guessing bags they sell through Amazon may be off-spec; as they are listed at a discounted price. All in all, I really like the bag.

Love it.Really big inside. Separate laptop compartment and one more laptop\tablet pocket in the main compartment. Really nice pockets inside and out, good quality of stitches and zip. Wide shoulder straps and luggage strap in the back.Great look for office

I originally purchased this backpack for work. I travel quite a bit and wanted something professional looking. It is beautiful and I almost always get compliments on it. I love the quilted V look on the bag. The gold hardware and zipper gives it a high quality, rich look. The straps are nice but not very comfortable even when adjusted. That wasn’t a super big deal to me. The side pocket is kind of small so you would only be able to fit a small water bottle. Not a bottled soda or any other type of traveling cup. All in all though it’s a good bag and definitely great value for money.

I really love this backpack. I use it for work and for travel for my laptop and all my junk that goes with it. I used to carry a laptop bag with handles only and I had a lot in it. It was always heavy to hold the bag. This backpack holds everything that was in the laptop bag, plus a lot more. It is comfortable to wear (I use both shoulder straps). I traveled abroad with it and used it to hold my shopping items when going through markets.The only downside are the pockets on the outside on each of the sides that look like they could hold beverages. They really can't unless its a small beverage container and as long as your bag is not full. I was able to get a bottle of water from the airport to fit in it. But once my bag had a lot of stuff in it, I couldn't use it for a beverage. Maybe use it for little papers (assuming they won't fly out).
