Armory Replicas Tactical Warrior Tanto Full Tang Emergency Outdoor Survival Gear Boot Knife

I've purchased 3 of these knives over the past few years. I originally bought this to use as a boot knife, however as you will read in other reviews, the handle will rub and poke you in the leg if you lace it like they have in the picture. I do not recommend as a boot knife. I later found its true calling... I now wear this knife around my neck when I'm kayaking. And I do a lot of kayaking. Whether I'm fishing or going out for a weekend camping trip on the river, it is convenient and always in reach. All in all, its a handy blade to have in my collection and a great bargain for the price. To the ones that are knocking the quality of this knife and giving it poor reviews, WHAT DID YOU EXPECT? ITS A $7 KNIFE!!!

This is a great knife for the money. It is a full tang knife so the odds of it breaking are greatly reduced, and at the same time it is light weight and easily manipulated. The hard case that it comes with is sturdy and wont crack easily. It is easy enough to secure on to your boot either underneath the laces or on the side.The only thing that sucks about the knife is the "whistle". For those that did not notice, the sheath this knife comes with has a whistle built in. It doesn't work at all and is kind of a silly feature. Luckily like most of you I didn't buy this knife because the sheath has a nifty built in whistle so it really doesn't bother me.All in all a good knife for the money, buy with confidence.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Doesn't have a lot of wiggle in the the sheath. The click in is pretty good as well. I think the sheath could be smaller. I have giant hands so this felt small in my hand and I ground down the top grip a bit just to feel better. One side is ground to a point the other is flat. Definitely not sharp to start with. My opinion is if the blade didn't have a slight inward curve it would be better

I’m no expert, but I would consider this a Solid product. Knife and case are of good quality. The picture is misleading though. This case does not have the holes for a lace like I thought they would. A tutorial to show how it would be attached to a boot would help customers. Blade is also not as sharp as I would expect a brand new knife to be. Sharp, but not brand new, straight from the factory, and out of the box sharp. Overall, a solid product at a good price.

Better to wear around your neck. And it has a built in whistle!!! I must of missed that when reading the description.IMPORTANTBUT.. I have bought 3. Two were PERFECT. The last one was a complete KNOCK OFF. cheap metal and sheath. Hated it. You may get a hit or miss. good luck. The branded ones I received were labeled 'SURVIVOR'. the Knockoff had no marking. BEWARE.

Cool item. A little hard to pull out the knife and put away cause snaps in place like a puzzle piece but probably best so it doesn't slip out and get lost or anything

I was very impressed with this product. The cost was very low but the quality was still very good. The knife was very sharp. and it keeps its edge with use. One feature that I really liked is that the knife locks in place in the sheath. It can be worn around your neck as a neck tie knife. Or on your boot. very good piece especially for a secondary knife.

I bought two for me and my wife to use in emergency situations while canoe fishing. The steel on the handle and blade are fairly thick. One was sharp and the other was not very sharp. The blade is only ground to an edge on one side. The other is flat like on a wood chisel. The plastic on the handle looks like it is glued together over the metal. One of them was not placed right and does not fit perfect on the latch of the sheath, but it clips and holds just fine. One of the lanyards was thick and the other was thin. The sheath is fairly thick and solid. I drilled 5 more holes on each side of the sheath and used the lanyards to tie them to the straps of our life vests. All in all it is a good buy for the price, as long as it cuts rope and fishing line when needed.
