Clean light, no color cast, adjustable & even illumination.
I needed a more focused light source to supplement my overhead lighting. I've reached an age where light makes a greater difference than it used to, particularly working on detailed projects. I love the clean light that LED bulbs give. At 3000 K this light falls into what they call "warm" light which, in theory, is closer to yellow color cast than the blue color cast of bulbs over 5,000K. In practice, I can't detect any color cast and the light appears pure white. This lamp, in particular, is comfortable to use because I have a pretty wide range of motion for each light and I can focus each (or all) where I want it.Focused lighting was the reason I got this lamp to begin with, but I've discovered an additional use involving diffused lighting. My husband is an artist and I photograph his artwork. When photographing artwork you come across the problem of hot spots (spots where the light source leaves a flash-like reflection) especially on dark colors such as dark blue or black. When photographing a particularly difficult piece, it occurred to me to take this lamp to the studio. I aimed one bulb at the white ceiling and the other two to either side of the artwork. This distributed light combined with ambient light resolved the problem. The piece was evenly lit with no hotspots. The 3,000K light did not add a color cast to the image but the overall lighting was a mix of ambient and lamp light. It was easy to find a white point and there was no color distortion. As a matter of fact, I added this light to ambient light (no flash) when photographing my grandchildren for the Christmas card picture this year. It made the process much easier because they tend to get antsy when I use flash. The lamp is well made and lightweight but steady. Many floor lamps are wobbly on the base or tend to tilt in one direction. This one is straight. The on/off control is located on the pole. One turn turns on one light, the next turn adds the other two, and last turn turns everything off. Like all other LED lamps I've come across, the bulbs on this one are not replaceable. It has a life expectancy of thousands of hours (somewhere in the range of 20,000 hours) of use and the wattage of 15 each which means (in old terms) the equivalent of 60 watts. If you remember when we used incandescent bulbs, the highest wattage that you could use in a lamp was 60 watts. This lamp--with all three lights lit--has the equivalent of three of the old bulbs and uses only a fraction of the power. The lamp is not tall and the placement of the lights is distributed so that the highest falls below the top, which leads me to think that it is designed for focused lighting either when reading seated or when working on a table or desk. But, as I found out, it works great for either focused or diffused light.

"10 year LEDs" lasted 2 years
Poor quality - the LEDs stopped working - and there is no obvious way to replace them (nor could I find documentation online.

Well-built, plug in, warm light, LED floor lamp
UPDATE 9/8/19: As much as I love this lamp, it's started to have problems with less than a year of use with about 2 hours of use each day. The top two bulbs start flickering on and off when it should be a steady light. The bottom one works fine, but one bulb alone doesn't give off much light. I'm worried their might be a wiring problem, but at the very least, the LED bulbs don't last well.ORIGINAL: This plug-in-to-a-wall-outlet, black LED Floor Lamp is exactly what I was looking for. It has a warm color temperature (2700-3000K), so I can use it at night when I don't want blue light waking me up. There are three lights, each are 5 W for a total of 15 W when all three are on. The switch rotates between off, the bottom lamp on, the top two lamps on and the bottom one off, all three lamps on, and all of them off again. Each lamp head is 6.5" x 3" wide at the widest. Each head can be left in parallel alignment with the pole or rotated up to 90 degrees out (to where they point directly away from the pole). Each head can also be rotated from facing backward & parallel to the floor or to the opposite direction and on up towards the ceiling plus a little past that point. The base is heavy and measures 8.75 inches across by 1.5 inches thick as measured from the floor up. The overall height of the lamp is 60 inches tall. The pole is 0.75 inches thick. The power cord is 70" from the base to the wall plug. The lamp came packed in a box and some assembly was required. They included assembly instructions. Basically, you take all the packing material off and remove the plastic rings. Then screw each segment into the previous one (as they are all strung along the electrical cord), starting at the base. It was quick and easy to assemble. This lamp suits my needs as a reading lamp next to my couch. Depending on how dark it is, I might only use one or all three lights. So far, two lights on has usually been light enough at night. Overall, I'm pleased with this lamp.

great light source (for awhile) **edited review**
I am adding a few comments to my initial review posted in November. (if follows this addendum} The lamp was great until it was not. After having it 2 months, 2 of the three lights had failed. Because the warranty was a big selling point for this item, I contacted the company requesting that they honor it with a replacement. The company was gracious and eventually did send me another lamp. It is working great now but time will tell if it too bites the dust prematurely. My experience is evidently not unique so my advice would be to go with a different product.********This lamp is compact and slim, will go with a variety of decors and is a great room brightener. Easy and quick to assemble, the directions are clear and logical and include contact information for any questions or concerns. The LED lighting is bright without causing glare. There are three individual lights that can be turned on in combination of one, two or all three and adjusted to point in a variety of different directions and combinations. Although it lightweight, it is not flimsy or tippy and fits well into a small space. The 12 month warranty appears to be very inclusive. All in all, impressive.
