Beautiful book! I gave it as a gift to a friend who loves it

This book really captures the "magic" that is Capri (one of my favorite places in the world). It deftly combines the history (both ancient and recent), the visual imagery and great food and drink that make Capri such a unique and memorable place to visit. I bought copies for all of my friends who share my passion for the island.

On recent visit to Capri looking at purchasing small apt went to the places mentioned in the book including a boat ride around Capri and a linguini lunch. Book was a great help with many stars like George Hamilton and his wife in the book.

I'm 100% Italian , and I have to go to Capri ............ this place is spectacular . The book was able to help me daydream my way though , until I can afford a plane ticket to Italy . I recommend this book .

The book was okay, but the cover was torn. I would have liked to add it to my travel library but the torn cover diminished its esthetic value to me.

It's simply stunning the pictures and the portrayal of the island. I love the publishers as well all their books are fantastic. They make you want to jump right into the pages!

this wasn't at all what I was expecting but it was extremely interesting. I thought it would be more pictures and less text - a kind of decor inspiration but it was quite focussed on entertaining 'capri style'. I was disappointed that there wasn't more about capri architecture and decor but it was a fascinating read all the same.
