Would this be a good toy to take on a long haul flight with a 17 month old?

It's lightweight, so it would be easy to carry and not take up too much room. My 17 month old wasn't able to clip and unclip the buckles on her own, so she got bored fairly quickly. I probably wouldn't bother to take it with us for a long haul flight, and as much as I like this toy and think it will get a lot of use at home, you'd get as much entertainment out of the airplane safety card.

At first my son found this difficult but over time he has learnt the skill to connect the buckles. I highly advise you to get this product

Good toy for teaching fastenings

My 2yo little girl loves playing with this. The zip is a bit hard to undo/do up, but apart from that it's very good and great for dexterity and motor skills.

Great for development

My 1 year old son has just started exploring zips and trying to work out how to undo catches, so this is ideal to help his development.Delivery was ultra quick.Nicely put together set of things for him to explore.

Too expensive for what it is...

Item has just been delivered and not given to the children yet. Concept good - there are so many of these on the amazon website .. chose this one as I thought it was wood. Clearly didn’t read the description properly.It is made of some kind of foam and is about 1/2 inch thick. Not sure that this is going to last for two 18month olds.It is flimsy for the nearly £17 price range and not worth the money! You could probably make it yourself for about a fiver!I may return.
