LightHub 7 Day 3kW Electronic Fused Timer Spur Switch with Boost for LED Lights, Heating, Immersion Heater & Lighting

UPDATEAfter a few weeks installed I noticed this timer is failing to come on at some programmed timed windows. I've checked the programme very carefully and it definitely should be coming on so I suspect the unit is faulty (NB: I bought a second one more recently and haven't noticed any problems with that one yet).To be fair to the seller, they have been initially very responsive (quick reply, proposing that I try changing the fuse - I can't see it will make much difference but willing to try as less hassle than replacing the whole timer).Currently testing with new fuse. Reducing to three stars due to reliability concerns pending outcome of testing and seller response if it has to be replaced.------------ORIGINAL REVIEW (written just after installation)A good value bit of kit. It's not premium, but it is cheap and for the price it does the job well.Importantly, the primary connectors are reasonably robust (2 x 2.5mm wires each is OK). The Earth is slightly smaller and a bit wimpy (especially if you want 3 x 2.5mm cables in it), but it works if you take care to align the screwdriver straight to avoid trashing the screw head.It has the functions as per the description (7 day programmable, boosts, etc). Programming is, like all similar timers, a bit fiddly, but it is fairly flexible if you take the time. You can have up to 4 different on/off periods per day (and have them all different on different days if you really want). It is easier to program if you want just all weekdays with the same 4 time periods and all weekends with the same time periods, but if you really want every day different you can.My only minor quibble - the red power LED is too bright. When it is wired in there is a permanent red LED showing it has power. This is always on (even if you switch off the main power switch at the front) and is relatively bright. When the timer is on (i.e. in one of the set time slots) a green light comes on alongside the red LED. This is less bright, but overpowered by the red one.Overall, good value. I am buying a second

This product is excellent does exactly what I bought it for. It works perfectly I have e 7Meter I timed the hub to work long side e7 times and it work very wellindeed. definitely would recommend plus its simple to install

Fitted, but not in use yet (for Xmas lights) - but very easy to fit and program - looks very good quality

Easy to fit and programming not too difficult. Much better than a mechanical timer that needs to be reset after every power cut. Early days to say if it is reliable.

Easy to fit on to a 35mm Patrice,easy to program. Used timer on immersion heater. Product has all nessercery features.

Good timer switch for my towel radiator. Wish I'd gone for the wifi version though.

As immersion timer it has many good features . Installation is easy because the holes for wires are big enough for the cables/flex (unlike the cheepo LAP timer from Screwfix which is a pain to wire up). You do need a backbox, on the 35mm surface backbox I used the screws supplied with the unit were not long enough, requiring a second visit to my friendly local electrical wholesaler.The display is large, clear and user-friendly, with up to 3 switching periods per day AND both override and boost buttons as well as an on/off rocker switch. A vast improvement on the unit it replaced.Delivery time was over a month (disappointing, I don't know if the seller was out of stock at the time).Can't comment on reliabilty yet as only installed yesterday but I like this unit.
