An excellent AK-specific supplement for your pre-existing carbine training library.The information is quite good, but it is also somewhat sparse. Approximately zero time is spent rehashing anything but the most basic of basics - everything else is Kalashnikov specific. There is no fat in this DVD, just the good, the bad, and the ugly of the Kalashnikov weapon system.Unfortunately, it seems clear that there was more information that was to be included but was left on the cutting room floor. Some of which would have been rather nice to have... like operating the AK with the left hand on fire control.There are also a few instances where the audio/video are out of sync, but this is only a minor fault and does not detract from the value of the instruction.If this DVD had included more information about the use of the Kalashnikov weapon system, in particular operating the weapon system left handed, I would have given it Five Stars.

pretty basic synopsis of the AK platform- Travis reviews weapon manipulation, sighting, shooting styles, breakdown and the various models for purchase. Good all around introduction for someone new to the AK. I found it informative, albeit a little pricey. Im pretty sure this is much longer than 45min as one review noted, i have been watching for over an hour and still not finished.I would recommend

Hard-hitting right from the git go! T. Haley is pretty hard-core and COMPLETELY knowledgeable in this Kalashnikov instructional video. I liked the advanced rapid pace he schools me in this video. As a former Army Infantryman, I relate to this well. Absolutely awesome dvd over 2 hours long. Less expensive than another military and ammo-related catalog.

I thought this video was very helpful in getting a better understanding of the AK variants and how to use them to their full advantage. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a better understanding of this weapon.

Great overview and excellent drills for users and enthusiasts or the AK platform. I especially appreciate the lesson on ballistics. There are some very specific considerations on the 7,62x39 and 5,45x39 cartridge which are addressed in easy to understand (infantry proof) detail! Reach out and touch someone.

It's not magpul productions level but good info. It's just Travis and a camera guy. As with all instructional videos you need to put it into action, ideally taking a class.
