Panasonic was on my mind but I still went for Honeywell because this was the only alternative brand that was reliable.Pros:Affordable than Panasonic but with the same video qualityCan connect two Door Cameras.Wide view angle than most of the door bell on the market (better than even expensive ones)Supports expandable memory card option, can record screenshot of people ringing the bell.Can manually record video (poor quality though)Cons:Night vision is terrible, you cannot even recognise if its a human unless they are very close to the cameraNo motion detectionLess Vandal resistantWhen user rings the bell, the outdoor unit makes more noise than indoor unit. If you reduce the volume of outdoor bell, then the visitors are unable to hear you. :(NO motion detection, not vandal resistant, if someone smashes the outdoor unit, then there is no way to view outside or to even know who did that.Is it better than Panasonic?Panasonic makes best video door bells but their power supply brick was insanely huge to conceal and the video quality was similar to Honeywell.Honeywell supplies plenty of cable that is sufficient for most installations and installation is quite straight forward.It is still not as robust as Panasonic,Who should buy this?This is recommended for people living in individual houses and are looking for an affordable, reliable VDP because it has a wide angle lens that covers more area than the other cameras in the market. This might not make much sense for people living in apartment.I'd say, extend your budget and go for panasonic unless you require a wide angle lens.

Stopped working in 6 months. There's a constant dialling beeping tone that randomly starts. Only when you switch the power off does it stop. Then the door bell won't work so it defeats the purpose. It's one of the most expensive models and from a highly known brand so I'm surprised it stopped working. I wouldn't recommend this as the previous piece I had from another brand lasted more than 10 years before it stopped working. As a replacement it was very disappointing.

Don't buy this product Honeywell i-shield door bell. Worst product. After 12 days of installation video camera stopped working. Worst customer care. After complaining a technician came and told they will replace the indoor unit and vanished. No response even after repeated calls for so many days. Felt cheated , buy only if you want to waste your hard earned money, product came from cloudtail India private limited gurgoan. This is all u get when you have paid thosands of rupees and the product is in warranty. I am really regretting

Product if working fine for the last couple of weeks.Product brochure should be more illustrative for usage of external device.
