M80 White Drum Tone Control Damper Dampener, the ORIGINAL, Made in USA

Does exactly what it's supposed to do and I really like the versatility of being able to choose the length by folding it up. Let's me choose a little bit of ring if I want it, or none at all depending on the application. Not the cheapest but it's like having three in one and it's well made so you want have to replace it ever.

The item works as described. Love the sound of my snare now. Good crack without being piercing, not too dead. Was worth the price.

I’ve tried “tea towels” (what Ringo calls napkins), celestial dust-trap gels of various sorts, and that 70s classic, the fat leather wallet. This beats them all. It doesn’t choke the drum because it jumps when the stick hits the head, then falls back to mute ringing. Wallets do that too, but they also fall on the floor and scatter your card collection in inconvenient ways. Takes awhile to settle flat because of how it’s shipped, but works nicely thereafter. If it’s not working, you probably need to watch some Rick Beato vids on drum tuning.

I'm a gaff tape guy from way back, but I bought one on a whim and love it. Does exactly what it's designed to do. Pricey, but it's quality and it works, so hard to argue.

Easy to install, no glue or grease residue of decaying gel leaving stains on the head, works perfectly to control overtones on toms and snare. Can be raised with a magnet off the head to have the natural tone of the drum when necessary. well done.

This made my snare sound completely dead, it's too much deadening. I ended up going back to paper tape!

Works well as a damper! Stays attached to snare for easy packing and no futzing with "rings".

The product performs exactly as it says it does. However for the price one could buy much more leather and simply make their own diy version as many drummers tend to do. I like it and would consider buying more for multiple drums especially if the price becomes more appealing.
