Side steps in 4 runner
I personally do like them, but they not very practical if you want to step on them with the closed doors. they just don’t stick out much.

Important change to installation.
These come with a thin gasket between the board and mount. They are cheap. Mine wore through and I had a noise when accelerating. Thought it was the suspension. It was actually metal grinding metal. So I used a piece of fuel line and cut it on the side. Slide it onto the end of the board. Solved.

Stubby not functional. Cosmetic only.
These are so short coming from under the truck that they aren't functional. Definitely for looks, not function.
