So...the battery life in the original battery was not great. Like it could not charge enough to last a day even if the computer was unused. So I ordered this--same as the one I got my daughter a few years ago, which she changed out herself and was successful--and it was the easiest thing ever.I know that Mac laptop batteries have changed in recent years, so can't say if it's as easy to change newer batteries...but this kit and battery was perfect. Changed it in maybe 15 minutes. (Best part--they gave me this plastic scrapper tool, maybe to open the case, that is GREAT for using on dishes to get food off. Multi-use tools!)

I got about 14 months of use from this battery. Bought the battery on Nov 24, 2023, installed soon after. Starting March 12, 2025, the battery had to be connected to a power cord for the computer to work, then the battery completely died on March 27, 2025. I used my computer for ~2 hours per day on average. No issues other than dying at the end.

The people who have been reviewing this item give it one star I just can’t believe. I followed exactly what the directions were. It came at 76% Said let it drain down to 2% and then charge it. I did that it is now been four days since I’ve had this and nothing that any of these people say has happened. The battery is sticking to it very strong. Not loose with people saying connection is not made. and there’s no wiggle room like people say. It lasted for more than two or three days like people said it wouldn’t. It is working fine. I don’t know what in the heck people are talking about. It fits my HP pavilion. And by the way as soon as I installed battery every problem that I had with my keyboard not working and the Caplock button being stuck in certain keys not being able to work all went away. It is worth the $20 you pay without a doubt it is worth that. It comes extremely fast it comes packaged beautifully. It actually has two packaging inside of the box on top of all of the airbags that are inside of it. I don’t know what the people are talking about this battery is perfect. I was very hesitant because I go with reviews as well. But they are wrong. Follow the directions let it run down to 2% or to 5% and then plug it in and charge it to hundred percent don’t leave it plugged in. That does not work. That’s how I burn my other battery down. When I checked how many hours I actually use this computer for it was laughable and that HP battery that came with the computer was done. This battery holds a charge and it is done wonders for a laptop that I thought I was gonna have to throw away. And this laptop is in immaculate condition used for maybe less than 100 hours combined over the past two years that I’ve had. Laptops are throwaways people say. You only have them for a few years. If you take care of it you can have it for a long time. I had a first HP pavilion with a good amount of ram and it works beautifully with this battery and the charge holds. Don’t be foolish and go to HP or go to some battery place and pay 40 $60 for a battery. 20 bucks you could buy two of them and be fine with it. I bought one I may even buy another one. As I said before the company ships extremely fast it is packaged beautifully and I have had not one problem with it knock on wood so far. And the reason I waited 4 an a half to five days to put this review up was because I wanted to disapprove all of the stuff that people said about the one star reviews on how long it lasts it broke after two days it doesn’t keep a charge. That is wrong. But you wanna know what. People are always going to complain no matter what. And I think it’s wrong that the highlighted reviews are the one star ones because that’s wrong

works like a charm I can go the entire day (roughly 10hours) without charging . the battery really holds charge. The battery that came with the laptop got hot after half an hour, this one doesn't ,its like a new devices was able to install the battery by myself, didn't need a tech.

This aftermarket battery was an exact match for the original battery in my older HP laptop. Its form, fit and function was the same as the original battery, but it lasted longer on a charge due to the age of my old battery. The price was very reasonable, and my laptop has a normal operating time on a single battery charge once again.

Cheap, low quality battery that doesn't last. I purchased this in November 2023 and it lasted about 14 months. Since February of this year, 2025, it has been dying after a few minutes.Currently the system reports:Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 144Cycle Count: 159The seller states that the full charge capacity is 7200 mAh - so after 14 months it has lost 98% of its capacity. I bet it never had that much, or was an old battery that they reset. They also state that it could have up to 500 cycles. That is a more vague statement but at 32% of the expected number, it's highly questionable. If you like replacing batteries every year, this is the one for you!The pros are: it was cheap and easy to install, came with a tool kit, fits correctly.
