"How come we don't do romantic things like running through the rain holding hands
My girlfriend pointed at the TV and said, "How come we don't do romantic things like running through the rain holding hands?""Because I've got an Fulton Ambassador Men's Umbrella."

I've learned to hate Fulton over 4+ years and 3 Fulton's later.
Loved these back a few years ago. Problem is it takes just one storm to fling these babies inside out and then that's it. Your snazzy fulton will have a repeated tendency to bail on you again and again. I bought three in four years, the jumbo golf umbrellas (the largest compact umbrella ever made at 120cm span).Given it's a royal umbrella (the Queen's guard use Fulton) and given that it's a brand that pride's itself on quality, I suggest they have at least a 1-year guarantee even against wind, or like some of the cheaper confident brands, offer a lifetime warranty!I wear a lot of wool coats in the winter and I hate getting wool wet. I'm looking for alternatives, until then I will continue using my defected Fulton which has become a traitor to the wind!

Perfect!
Best umbrella fullstop. Not only does it fold away to literally put back into a messenger style bag, it's actually really strong, has been blown inside out quite a few times in the past years and not had any problems popping back to normal.Literally still using it and it's been about 2-3 years. No problems whatsoever and would reccomend this again and again to everyone. rain bounces off the umbrella and hardly stays wet, dries in no time and have used it in the storms of storms. perfect stylish and very compact when folded.I always keep it with me and when it rains, people have complimented me saying i come prepared haha, however it's just so small you can take it with you and not worry if it does rain or not because it's there. This is what you call a Quality umbrella ladies and gentlemen and students alike.Stop going to the pound shop buying cheap 1 pound umbrellas and get a Fulton!Edit - (4 years later)Still have this umbrella In perfect condition. Has not worn out, never broken no damage to the material whatsoever. Really impressed with this umbrella and has stood the mark of time. Guys this is without a doubt an instant buy if you're looking for an umbrella!Edit - (6 years later, purchased in Oct 2012 and writing this in Jan 2018)Still hasn't broken and working perfectly fine. Absolutely no problems with this and have used it throughout many tough conditions in winter. I genuinely reccomend this item and still tell people about this when they're considering buying an umbrella.Edit - (8 years on writing in June 2020)The push to open mechanism is a little worn now. Requires a bit of pressure to open and to close. But otherwise its still working great!

My umbrella of choice for the past 20 years - Excellent item
As a student I remember buying the cheap £1 umbrellas and going through several a year, they were badly made, frail and one even cut my skin from a poor folding mechanism. As soon as I started earning a living and as my primary mode of transport was walking to work I invested in one of these. Very sturdy, they'll withstand most ordinary storms and winds, and also I love the trigger mechanism to open. I think I'm on my fourth or fifth one of these, so they last an average of about 5 years I'd say. Forget the cheap umbrellas, and buy this one, you won't regret it.

Excellent Product!
This is the best umbrella I've ever bought. I had my umbrella for over 3 years, using it through some of the heaviest rain downfalls and fairly strong winds, and it had survived! I have been forced to buy another one simply because I left mine on a bus! My only criticisms of this umbrella is that it is quite weighty and long; so it takes up a fair bit of room in your bag. Other than that, it is a well made, strong and durable umbrella, which I would definitely recommend.

Decent but not great for *strong* winds
Decent umbrella. I like the button that releases it, there's something really satisfying about being to open the umbrella with just one button. It's pretty small and lightweight, it fits in my rucksack (with the handle sticking out) but my rucksack is on the small side so I'm more than satisfied with that.It performs well in winds but not perfectly. It has blown inside-out on me 2-3 times but only through very strong gusts. It's not really a huge issue and 90% of the time it won't happen but I knocked off one star for this because I expected a little better. It is definitely better in winds than those cheap umbrellas you find in the store though! Buy a windshield umbrella if you experience strong winds frequently.

Best brolly ever had
Was given a more expensive brolly for Christmas after i lost my Fulton. That fell apart. Back to Fulton. I have never had one of these break, i just loose them. get one, press the button to open it and you will understand the quality is great.

One of the best umbrella I have bought
One of the best umbrella I have bought.Honestly, spend a bit more and buy this - it will last you much longer than the cheap crap £5-10 ones you get from other well-known shops.E.g bought one from Topman/Burton - it broke on the FIRST use.So honestly, if you want to stay dry from summer rains etc - you have my word that this is a great buy.
