*first photo is new formulation the very bottom words say "water resistant" in Japanese which is isn't there on the old formulation.I love this sunscreen and have used it for over a year. Unfortunately it seems what is being sold now is a new formulation that is "water resistant." It has a bit of a thicker consistency and is a bit heavier and noticable and slightly drying on the skin than the previous formulation which was almost milky in texture and didn't dry my skin.That's not a big deal to me.What is a HUGE deal is that this new formula burns my eyes like crazy. It's very important to use SPF on your eyelids and and around your eyes and the old formula was great for this. If it DID get into your eyes it would be a bit uncomfortable and they might tear a bit but with this new formula they are guaranteed to water and burn for a long time if you're out and about unable to wash it off.It's so disappointing as this sunscreen was truly a holy Grail for me. It still looks nice on the skin but I will have to avoid it around my eyes and find something else.

Excellent quality! It absorbs quickly and is not greasy. Only down side is too expensive, it was less than £8 when I bought in Asia.

I like it but it is little bit sticky on my skin because I have very oily skin. Ok with oily skin and best in winter. If I think about protecting then it is good. Overall 4*.

All in Japanese and not expiring date. It could be old unsold stock not suitable for resell.

Good sun protection and almost no oily/sticky at all. Provides a nice tan.
