Trouble According to Humphrey

So great! My son and I have started reading the Humphrey books for school reading homework and it is such a great series. Easy for him to read and it tells a great story.

THERE WAS SOMETHING IN THIS HEARTWARMING STORY OF KINDESS AND CARING WHICH TOUCHED MY 7 YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER'S INTEREST, THAT AFTER HER RECEIVING IT, I LATER LEARNED THAT SHE RE- READ IT TO HER GIRLFRIENDS ON A VERTUAL PALY DATE.

My daughter loves this series.. It was a gift for her and she loved it. Highly recommended.. Also when you're buying a book, the most important thing is receiving books in a perfect condition. Thats what we got at this purchase. Very happy over-all and highly recommended this seller,

We love the whole Humphrey series. If you're into "empathetic parenting" or want to help your child think about an animal's feelings, then you'll appreciate the series. The author always starts each book with some basics so even if you haven't read the books in order, you'll still be able to follow the plot and characters. Well written. Lots of strong verbs and plenty of complex and simple sentences. Humphrey is always thinking about everyones feelings--I love that about these books. My daughter is 5 and I read these to her. If your child is reading, this is probably for a third grader. It's way beyond any of the "I can read" books that are geared towards new readers.

This book is in good condition and I use it to read.This book is very interesting and funny.I would not change anything.When my order came, the box was in good condition and the quality is great.I would recommend this book to everyone out there.

I bought the first book in the series to introduce my 5 year old to the concept of "chapter books". She loves it! All of the books are super cute and have really well thought out moral lessons in each. And it's gotten her motivated to read more on her own. She's advanced tremendously since we started the series.

My daughter started reading the first Humphrey book for a school assignment and liked them so much she asked me to order the rest of the books in the series. I love the lessons taught in these books; they are reminiscent of Mr. Rogers (A Great Man).

The Humphrey series inspired my 8 year old son to go from reading because he had to, to reading because he loved to! With the Text-to-speach feature on the Kindle, my 6 year old can "read" along and enjoy the stories all by himself. The grownups look forward to reading the Humphrey books with the children just as much as they do. These are all around great books and we can't wait until there is another one.

We were a bit worried about this book because the front cover shows Humphrey falling off a rollercoaster and we didn't want Humphrey to be hurt! But don't worry, Humphrey is just as funny as in all the other books and he doesn't get hurt. My teacher Mr Jones is mean because he says he is allergic to hamsters and won't buy one for the classroom. So I just have to make do with these brilliant stories (Mr Jones won't even buy us a frog like Og!)

We have loved reading the Humphrey stories, (with 9 year old daughter), this one is particularly good and introducing children to the concept that behaviour at school maybe as a result of something going on at home that the class children are unaware of. Particularly good at trying to encouraging children to consider other children's feelings when they behave in a particular way.A great read.

My son doesn't like vampire, ghost, Harry Potter or any books that are really more his age group but we found a Humphrey book in the library & he loved it. Since bought several more through Amazon & he loves them. The stories are well written & it gets him reading books, so I'm delighted. His twin sister reads them after & then he passes them onto his little sister. Perfect

Daughter seems to like them, whatever keeps her quiet in good with :)

Loved reading this book to my 6 year old granddaughter, she’s really into these Humphrey books
