Does the job.
Does a good job with differences but I would spend more on a higher quality product the next time.

Two volumes
As an aging entertainer, it's long been obvious that audiences in their later years know only two volumes, "too loud" and "I can't hear you". With venues ranging from living rooms to fire halls, the answer is to actually measure the audio level. This inexpensive device provides a quick check without opinion. By placing the meter at approximately the same distance from the speakers, the volume can be adjusted with consistency. Exact accuracy for my use isn't as important and being able to establish a relative set up. It will get used over 100 times this year. Can you hear me now?

the labor is mindless and it is nice to learn things while doing it but I don't ...
This measures sound well enough, it is difficult with the current technology to measure for what I want it do do, namely to figure out how loud of a bluetooth speaker I would need to listen to radio/podcasts while in my loading dock job, the labor is mindless and it is nice to learn things while doing it but I don't like using headphones as the get damaged or ripped out of my ears to often in such work. So for my very specific needs this device is not really as accurate as I was hoping but is still fun to use for general measurements for things like my power tools.TL/DR: it is Not a precision tool and even says so in the packaging but otherwise works pretty well

Not for me...
Just received item its small like picture. All you have to do is put in the battery just that easy. Instructions easy to follow, readable, value for money good. Have you use it before I can give it a 5 star. Overall apperance good. I'll come back to do another review on the funtionality.Okay, so I submit the first part but I guess it didn't go through but anyway, I just setup the product this isn't what I thought it was going to do. I knew it was going to monitor the noise I needed it for but I also need some kind of data that shows the level of noise. It just been sitting on the same numbers since I turned it on... No for me.

Uses batteries a lot faster than I would like!
Good clear screen, readability, seems pretty accurate, good quality and easy to use. Very portable. It is very handy to have.Cons: the batteries don’t last very long, it eats up batteries pretty quick
