PopBabies Portable Blender Cup - Rechargeable USB Smoothie Blender for Shakes, Ivory White

The media could not be loaded. The PopBabies Personal Blender is a must for anyone that drinks meal replacement shakes/protein powder and smoothies. I was blown away by how effective this device is at mixing/blending my fine-powdered shake. You might say- well, it doesn't take much to blend milk and powder...But I am here to tell you that the shakes I use must be sufficiently blended, or it tastes like grit...like you're eating sand. So it is of high importance to me that my shakes get blended correctly.I purchased this for a trip I took to Hawaii recently. I successfully took it through TSA, twice, with no questions or even a bag search. There was no damage to the product after traveling.Here's what I like about this personal blender:1) It is the size of a water bottle. A little larger when connected to the base. It's small and fits well in luggage.2) The blender is relatively quiet. I would say it compares to the sound of an electric pencil sharpener. It starts at the push of a button and stops on its own.3) This one comes with a silicone funnel...a must have if using powder. And since it's made of silicone, it packs easily.4) You won't have to worry about shaking your arm off anymore...only to find out that there's still a bunch of powder to be incorporated. This does the job, and it does it quickly.Things that could be better:1) They don't tell you this, but you will do it once, and never again. Always remember to put your milk in *first*, then your powder. If you don't, you will be spending a long time cleaning in hard to reach places. I wish they sent a small brush cleaner along in the package. However, when done properly, it's very easy to rinse with water and soap to clean.2) I am SO glad they give the funnel, because the opening is small. Perhaps making the opening larger (like in other brands), would eliminate the need for a funnel?3) this is a small thing...but I wish they had an option to choose one that came with a usb-c cord...as I don't have anything else now that uses the old cords.Overall, this is an excellent product. It worked suprisingly well during my travels, and has made my daily shakes much more enjoyable. I recommend it to anyone else interested in a personal blender.

Tldr:I love it. It's great. I've convinced SEVERAL people they need it too... and it wasnt hard, they just saw it in action. It's easy to clean if you have the right tool and hard if not. Follow the directions or you'll break it.The review:Been using this for 2 months now, about, 5 days a week. I love it. Now, it's not a miracle, but it is worth way more than its price. Also, I am not a fake review and I was NOT compensated for this at all.Tips:1) DONT OVER FILL IT. It's not an arbitrary limit. I almost burnt the motor out. Lol. I fill mine with frozen stuff at the beginning of the day and let it melt down a little. Then I fill it to just under the limit mark with liquid at lunch, SHAKE it for about 30 to 60 seconds, THEN blend it.2) follow the instructions!! Again, not arbitrary. They've done a good job telling you how this product might fail, and how to keep it from doing so. Start it upside down, shake it, DONT USE HOT STUFF.3) when it stops, stop for a bit. It has a really really good stopping mechanism for when stuff is too thick and for how long it should run. Don't run it again right away! Do something about it (like pour some out, just wait, or thin it) if your shake isnt done, then shake contents a bit, wait, then try again.Things I LOVE*Super portable*Surprisingly quiet*does a LOT of blends before power is out*cleans well with a BOTTLE BRUSH*smoothie texture is awesome*detaches from base*clear instructions*base not too big and heavy, fits in my purse or bag easily*plastic is tough and durable (I work with kids, so glass is out of the question)*hasn't picked up any weird tastes or stains*still working after heavy use*the ice cube tray is PERFECT for me to freeze probiotic yogurt, peanut butter, juice, or blended veggies into for future use. (Bend it a ton and knock the cubes out by brushing them with your hand. It's like every other silicon small cube tray)Wish list*a way to buy another freezer tray or two since I can't find the same thing anywhere*that I could freeze the bottle with my smoothie contents so I could make it the night, or even days, before.*That I could buy replacement bottles that could be frozen so I could make and freeze 5 of them for the upcoming week*to be able to screw the bottom with blades off too and thoroughly clean that outside of the bottle*that the bottle was 16 or 20 oz instead of 14... which is just the tiniest bit small. I make it work by using milk as my liquid... but I'd love to get more fruit and veggies in it.

This isn't just for smoothies and shakes. I use it often for salad dressing too. So easy-to-use and clean. Very solid. Best miny blender i have ever had. Long battery life. I haven't lost power yet. I plug it in every few days, just out of habit. The downside: it is a bit heavy, and when I try to open the top sometimes the base loosens too and the liquid can leak out.

Initially i was going to give this review 4 stars. After 30 days of having the blender the motor stopped working. However, I gave it 5 starts because not only do I honestly love the blender, the customer service for this is ON POINT. I sent them an email about my blender and they responded within 24 hours, like they say in the description, then they mailed me a new one, hopefully same color, no questions asked. Even sent me the tracking number. They really care about the quality of their product and their customer's experience with it. Honestly I may have messed up the motor, who knows, the fact is it worked great for the 30 days I had it and I'm looking forward to getting the replacement so I can continue to use it.The blender over-all is great. I love the size of it. It's not heavy at all, and the motor is loud but it's a blender, what do you expect. If your not only looking for a great portable blender, but also great customer service go with them.The only thing that could make this blender better is a different top option so instead of having to unscrew the lid completely off it would have a hole, like a coffee mug, where I can quickly pop or flip it open to have a drink and close it back again. May not be possible because of the possibility of the smoothie blasting out but a girl could dream lolz.
