Very bright highs, but punchy controlled lows.
Installed in a 2017 Ram 1500 Crew Cab front doors (Requires spacer). Very bright sounding speakers. So much so that I had to turn the highs way down on the equalizer. I like vocal forward speakers and i have never turned down the highs or mids on any speaker until now. They sound pretty good once you tame the highs. The bass is very clean and punchy. I am only powering these off the factory system so that may have something to do with it, but the Polk db's in the rear are very smooth so I doubt it.

Perfect as always
Another reliable product from Kicker. Mounts great and produces phenomenal sound. First installed without amp & used as full range speakers, works great as usual. Then hooked up to a 4-channel amp & used as mid & high range with a 12" pioneer sub for the lows, WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! I have never used them this way until my 05 Accord and they are crystal clear & LOUD AF with a 50-watt-per-channel 4-channel amp also from Kicker. This is without tweaking the sound but I am by no means an audiophile I just will be disappointed if I'm not deaf within the next 3 years. Worth the buy & is also paired with my 6.5" Kicker KS series speakers in the front doors that are still banging at 4 YEARS OLD.

Impressive
This is probably my first review on Amazon after all these years and this item is a pleasure to speak on. These speakers put the stock speakers to shame in a way I wasn't ready for. They look fantastic and sound remarkable for the price. I installed the 2 pairs of 6x9s in a 2011 dodge avenger as a newbie to the car audio realm and had zero issues. The highs and mids are crisp even on the stock radio and the bass is solid. I'm looking forward to hearing them after I install the new head unit. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for and upgrade that won't hurt the pockets.

These speakers have good sound but one of them has already blown after a week, I don't know if it was the speaker itself or if the company that installed it in my car but overall it was good speakers for the one that works now

These Kickers kick booty for the money!
I replaced the factory paper cone junkers with these and it was an incredible difference. These speakers fill out the sound in my car cabin with very efficient 93 db rating. I also replaced the front door speakers with the fine 5 1/4" two-way Kickers rated at 90 db. What a great move that was! I don't have to adjust the balance/fader on the head unit and it sounds like a concert hall with evenly balanced sound throughout. If you only make one improvement in your factory car stereo system, it has been proven time and time again that upgrading your speakers will give you much better sound for a small investment.

These speakers were top-rated in their class when I researched them before buying them to replace blown Infinity Kappa 693.9I 6 x 9 speakers in the front doors of my Ram 1500. They are connected to an Alpine 4-channel amp and a Pioneer head unit, and they can handle the power. I was advised to try Kicker when I asked which brand of speakers shouldn't be susceptible to blowing out/able to handle a powerful amp with the gain turned up.

Great upgrade if you don't want to do the whole system
I did a full sound system upgrade on my Civic a few years ago and I loved it, but when I got my truck I didn't feel like going the whole 9 yards. These speakers sound great driven by my stock HU.
