Great product! It helped me avoid back pain.
I bought this a month ago to help avoid back pain from standing in lines- and it has worked! It is lightweight, sturdy and comfortable for 220 pounds. I used it on a 12-day trip where I had to stand in airport security lines and other lines. It easily passed security tests and was allowed on airplanes as an assistive device. On airplanes it easily fit into overhead bins. I can’t comment on its value for longer-term or heavier usage but for 220 pound usage over a month it’s been great!

Great!
I got this chair for my 91 year old mother who still lives alone independently and can still get around. She has Afib and gets out of breath and can't walk for long periods of time. She absolutely loves this cane/chair! It's light weight, and can be opened or closed with one hand. Has handles to help with sitting down and getting up, and the back support is great! She only weighs 120 lbs so the large was fine for her. I sat in it (I'm closer to 200 lbs) and although I could sit in it, when I used the handles to get up I could feel it bend a little so I would suggest getting the larger one. I would highly suggest this chair.

Good for outdoor Events
Son says not sturdy enough. I say perfect to take to lawn concert and other events. I don't like the addition offer of sponge handles to buy at extra price. I'm looking around house for substitute. But I'm finding this"add on option" is happening to more and mor products. I'd hoped son with cancer would use it but I with old age m using it.

Lightweight in both good and bad ways (Not recommended for those with disabilities.)
The good news is the cane is light enough to use without discomfort. It is sturdy enough on most surfaces. The problem is the chair part feels quite flimsy. I sat on it a few times and it is comfortable but left me a bit leery. I have a medical condition so I need to rest a lot when I walk so I need a product like this.It does state the chair is not for everyday use. I only will use it when I go out for a walk for exercise. However, I will be cautious when I do sit down to rest in it. I am close to 300 lbs so I am at the upper limit for this chair. I hope to lose much weight so I can feel more comfortable when I need to rest. The material the seat and back is made from a plastic that seems strong when I did sit down. However, I have had items rip apart after a few months of use. I will update this review in the future.Bottom line: A decent product but care should be given as it does not feel too sturdy.Updated review: The cane chair is holding up quite well for me. It is sturdy enough so I am comfortable in the chair. I am also losing weight so that might be a factor in the chair getting more sturdy.Updated review: The chair broke apart from underneath me. I always check to make sure everything is still attached before using this seat. Nothing was bent or starting to wear when this happened. I have to reduce the rating to reflect on this as I only used this seat a few times a month. I never rocked or moved around in it. If you have a disability, it is best to look elsewhere for a more sturdy cane/seat.

Sturdy and light to allow browsing
I am liking it a lot. It is easy for me to use as a cane and sturdy enough to allow me to sit when needed and get up without assistance. Great for use at a farmer's market or something similar. I carry it with me in case there are no motorized carts at the grocery store. I have arthritis in my back and hips. One more useful tool to keep my independence. (my cats love it too)

Relief and support
A friend introduced me to this product a year ago. I have endured a few years of steadily increasing lower back pain from stenosis and scoliosis which has made walking and standing intolerable after only a few minutes. If I have something to lean on I get along better, but only sitting or lying down gives me relief. With this unit I get very strong and reliable support and some relief from pain because of the four points of contact with the ground. But I also can open it into the chair and sit wherever I need to. Waiting in lines is a prime example, and I have done this often. If I have to walk a long distance, I break up that walk with sitting for a few minutes. It is wonderful, to understate wildly. It’s lightweight as well but dependably sturdy. I love it and need it.

Don’t buy
Please do not waste your money on this cane, my mother injured herself sitting in the chair after only 1 day of use. I brought it for my mother to take on our family cruise, the cane worked well however after sitting in the chair for about 20mins the chair broke and my mother was on the ground. It was our 1st stop on our 8 day cruise so she went the remainder of our trip with no walking cane. I submitted for a return through Amazon and the company with no response.

Pleased with chair for a heavier person I purchased for
Was very pleased with the overall comfort and sturdiness for a heavier elderly woman I helped purchase this for. She's about 250 pounds and I got the wider size. It's light weight enough to carry like a cane if needed, easy to set up and yet is there to help provide a place to sit if on a longer rehab type walk if needed.. I believe it also helps give psychological support as well, just knowing it's there. Only Regret; I wished it didn't cost quite so much but this chair appears to be the best of it's type I could find, IMO for those who need this type of easy to carry, yet strong enough support chair.
