Elephant Lunar Rocks Pool Balls

We replaced our regular set with these and they work great. They took a little time to get used to, especially since the cue ball is black instead of white. They work great though and get lots of compliments from our guests.

I got these as a gift for my father. For the price, I was expecting something really special but I was dismayed when these billiard balls arrived in very tacky packaging instead of something tasteful. It was a round box featuring all these graphics and text in loud colors about the movie Pluto Nash.I realize the association - but I would have preferred some packaging which reflects the quality of the product within instead of looking like a a big gag gift. Thankfully he still likes the billiard balls which themselves are very nice. But... I think they should be about forty dollars cheaper. They just aren't as nice as I was hoping.

There was a delay when I purchased this set, which would normally equate to a low rating. However, the seller notified me of the delay immediately and provided me the option of waiting for them to receive another set (and discounted the price), canceling the order, or the option of purchasing a different set. I thought that was very classy and professional. I decided to wait and I'm glad I did. The balls look great!! They feel lighter than normal pool balls and sound different when they strike each other, but I have not noticed any reduction in performance. Although the balls are very nice and function great, I feel they are very overpriced ($150.00 is what I paid). Great set of balls, but I wouldn't spend that kind of money on pool balls again. These are a 5 Star set of pool balls, at a 3 Star price point (actually a 2, but I'm jaded by how nice they are), so I have to give a 4 Star overall.

At $150 I thought they were actual moon rocks! However, I had saved up gift cards which brought the cost down. They were a big, pleasant surprise for our daughter's family! Thanx Amazon!

The balls are good quality. It's hard to distinguish between stripes and solids. I cannot find why they made them 5/8 ounces lighter than normal balls. I get a lot more ball action on breaks compared to normal weight balls.

Please excuse the pun, but this is one beautiful set of balls! Unique. Rolls real smoothly and looks great doing it!
