Nokia 8110 (2018) Dual-SIM 4GB Factory Unlocked Smartphone (Black) - International Version

Likes: Small and easy to set up and use. Volume is great and does exactly what I needed, send and receive calls domestically. I am going to the UK and France, so I'll see if its duel sim feature preforms just as well. I have had the phone for about 2 weeks and have only had to charge it once. Battery life is very good. I confess I turned off all non-essential features so I can't address there fuctionality and I don't play the snake game!Dis-likes: I really can't complain about any phone features, Oh just one thing, the phone is a Nokia and the provided user manual was all in Vietnamese. This is not a show stopper as the internet provided all the insturctions and manuels I needed in my native tongue! The phone charger is also of the international type but I have an adapter for demestic use, so for me, this was not an issue. This might be a problem for someone who does not have an adaptor!

I wanted to give this phone a couple weeks before I knew, for sure, I would like this phone. The first issue I encountered was a weird input bug that would double press keys. I don't know if this is a hardware issue or software issue, but it seems like an easy thing to fix software wise by adding a forced delay between key presses.Set up was pretty straight forward, but it boots up with the international version of KaiOS, but after you hook it up to WiFi (which is kind of a pain in the ass to do it on T9) and set your locale, after some time (roughly 30 minutes) it updates to the more appropriate KaiOS version and it's a lot nicer.This is a perfect phone for minimalists, people who don't need much out of their phone, for privacy concerned individuals because the battery is completely removable, and for a tinkerer. KaiOS is an operating system that has it's apps based on web based programs. From what I've seen, it mainly supports HTML5, Javascript, and CSS, which you can do a lot on, especially with emulators.Speaking of Emulators, it turns out this phone and even the KaiOS platform has a side loading and homebrew scene, called BananaHackers. It's absolutely astounding that a phone this small and low cost has a lot of love from a community that's willing to make so much software for it.Do I recommend this phone? Well, it depends solely on what you want out of it. If you just want a phone that does calling, texting, music, somewhat okay-ish pictures and horrid video, some games, then yeah, buy now! But comparing this to a flagship smartphone, I think, is completely ridiculous to do because it's clearly not made to compete with them. I would say this is a perfect phone to get if you want to unplug from social media and the internet, have a music player, and keep your carry weight low.TL;DR version: Very under powered but in a good way, buy it if you want to disconnect from the world or if you're boomer.

It has poor battery life, I don't use the phone and somehow it is completely discharged in 15 hours, even with the 4GB deactivated. The buttons don't respond that well when pressing them.

I also received a dual sim version that will not work in USA.But the listing is for single sim. So this listing is wrong.The version they are sending can be found for under $100.We paid extra because we wanted the single sim version that would work in America.Oh well.

Lo he comprado para mi madre y es perfecto, porque siendo un móvil antiguo tiene todas las ventajas de un móvil actual, sin ser un móvil para mayores

Comprato per mia nonna e si è rilevato davvero un ottimo prodotto. Per il prezzo a cui viene venduto ha davvero tutto (dallo store per scaricare le app, alla suite base Google fino ai principali social come WhatsApp e Facebook). La forma curva in stile banana lo rende davvero unico. Uniche due pecche il joypad piccolo e la batteria che, mia nonna, ha lamentato essere poco performante per l'utilizzo che ne fa lei.

Cellulare molto semplice anche se permette l'uso di whatsapp (pur semplificato ma adatto al 95% dell'uso normale) con un'ottima durata di batteria. Certo...tornare ad utilizzare le doppie/triple pressioni sui tasti è una cosa strana...ma per i nostalgici...
