Water Softener Alternative Salt Free for Gas Heaters on City Water, Soft Water for Hair & Skin (WK1)

The media could not be loaded. I want to start off saying I don’t do reviews unless I’m very impressed with a product.Well I’m doing a 5 Star Review for Aqua Rex Home Water Softeners. I would give more Stars if it was available. I’m renting a home in Las Vegas and the hard water calcium build up here is off the charts. The hard water build up is so bad I’m embarrassed to show the before picture of my shower head but you have to see it to believe it.I also love great drinking water and have 3 big water filters in my garage, 2 more filters under my sink and a Kagen water machine that has another filter in it and NONE of them stopped the Hard water build up. I fill up my own glass ½ Gallon milk containers 5 of them and put them in the refrigerator. I drink a lot of water about a gallon a day plus my coffee.Well those glass jugs had so much hard water calcium buildup that I had to use Vinegar to clean the jugs and had to have it sit a day or 2 just to get all the calcium off. I couldn’t just wash my jugs with soap and hot water or even put in the dishwasher only Vinegar would clean the calcium off and I’m drinking this water?Aqua Rex Stopped all the Hard water build up on my Jugs but also see it in the shower and this is just a few weeks. The white film on my shower doors are gone and you can just rub a moist towel on your shower fixtures and they polish up like new. Never seen a water softener do this!Truly amazing home water system that works majic. No salt or monthly payments.One price and your done also I installed it in 15 minutes I will be taking my unitwith me when I move.If I owed the house I would still take it with me LOL. Naw leavefor the new homeowners I know they will love it too.

This product may help remove scale but my experience is it does not soften water. I would not buy it that is your intent. I bought one and ended up buying a water softener that uses salt pellets. I waited too long trying to determine if this works and I lost all the money I paid for this. Amazon would not refund. My recommendation is don't take a chance. It doesn't work.

Loved the residential unit. I’ve never owned a water softener and didn’t want to haul bags of salt. This was perfect! Easy to install and within 4-5 weeks noticed a huge difference in the water. Would recommend 100%

When my plumber suggested I install this to help solve our insanely hard water problems I thought he was nuts. In a last ditch effort to save loads of $$ to install soft water systems I gave it a try.The results were almost immediate.When we had had to clean the filter screens weekly in the faucets clogged with scale, a week after installation it was all gone. Amazing!

Had an issue with the original power adapter going out but the customer service rep was very responsive and worked with me to solve the issue. It appears to be doing its job but I was hoping for a little less noticeable build up on the fixtures.

I own a AQUA REX it works great the water seems softer and soaps suds up the water still tests hard but i seam to get the softer water no spotting and i don't have to carry 40 lbs bags of salt or worry about the salt water discharge

I used it for two years on a cold water line to a new on-demand, gas powered hot water heater to reduce calcium buildup in the water heater and fixtures such as the shower head and faucet aerators. There was no apparent reduction. I use a lot of cleaning vinegar to remove calcium from anything that uses water.
