A decent 4K monitor
The colour reproduction is not accurate, which is expected for an eye care monitor. It is excellent for reading and office work; increases productivity by providing large screen real estate.I am running it over HDMI with my gaming-laptop, so 4K is available only at 30 Hz. At 30 Hz refresh rate the monitor is unusable, so I have to run it at 1440p resolution to get 60Hz. I believe this is a limitation of most 4K monitors on the market. Unless you have a GPU which can connect to it through display port, do not consider a 4K monitor.I cannot be sure if the response time is 1 ms, but the monitor has no detrimental effect on gaming performance. If gaming is the priority, then obviously 4K is not the way to go and consider at least a 120Hz monitor. The speaker sound quality is horrible, and the volume is low. There is only tilt adjustment and no height adjustment, but the stand is heavy to support the monitor. The thick bezels make it look like an ancient device, but the whole construction is sturdy enough. Again this monitor is not worth the consideration if looks are important. This monitor is a great choice if utility is the priority, but it is definitely not worth the MRP of ₹ 42,800 and a bit on the expensive side at the current discounted price of ₹ 27,300.

Long term review (11 months). Read before you buy. DO NOT BUY MERELY FOR HDR 10
I have been using this monitor for casual/light gaming with a mid-range graphics card and AMD Ryzen 5. I think this is worth mentioning because this monitor supports AMD Freesync. Also, I have been using a DP cable for connection. More on this later.PROS:1. Amazing peak brightness. Colours look true out of the box without any tweaking. There are however a few useful picture modes.2. The Brightness Intelligence Plus feature which adjusts the glare according to the ambient light in the room works pretty well for my application and my surroundings. Your mileage may vary.3. Relatively easy on the eyes even after extended gaming/work hours. Please note this is relative to a normal, price-efficient and generic monitor. (Oh, and please take frequent breaks and take care of your health!)4. This is my first 4K screen experience ever. 4K content looks pretty good & crisp. 1080p even better.5. I also use a 4K streaming box with this monitor. The viewing experience is as good as/better than a TV. (Of course, at a proper viewing distance as this is a 28-inch screen)6. Viewing angles are great for both text and videos. Personally, I did not see any issue with this.CONS:There a few cons which could be a deal-breaker for you. Please read on.1. The HDR 10 experience isn't that great. Do not buy this monitor merely for an HDR experience or you will be left disappointed. The major issue with HDR being blacks aren't consistent and colours can become choppy during some dark scenes. This was a major turnoff for me and I wish it were better. HDR just doesn't look good.2. I had to switch to a DisplayPort cable for the best experience after trying multiple HDMI cables with my desktop setup as mentioned above. With HDMI, the display flickered even after changing cables and getting expensive ones. Not sure if this was a one-off issue.Hence, I suggest using a DP cable if you are using a midrange or higher spec PC for the best results. However, the display works fine with a laptop connected with an HDMI cable. I did not see any issues with a laptop. Reason unknown! Conclusion: This is a decent buy for a 4K display intended for casual gaming, office work and great for 4K media consumption. Not if you are looking for a good HDR display. Also worth noting that the refresh rate is maxed out at 60 Hz with drops to be expected at higher than 1080p.Hope this helps. Please feel free to ask any questions in a comment below.Cheers!

This is by far the best and biggest monitor I have ever owned.Pros :1ms response - no ghosting in fast paced multiplayer gamesEye care - can stare for long hours without any headache or painBrightness Intelligence plus works well, recommended to keep it onFullHD also looks great on this 4K monitor, with a OG PS427 inches is great big screenDesktop usage is wonderful with so much space due to 4k resolution2 HDMI ports 1 DP / UseUse Ycbcr422 with 10bit on Windows for best colorsCons :Colors might not be as good as IPS (well not for artists anyways)Speakers not very loud, I don't use it anyways :)Simulated HDR is not good, not recommended, better use only real HDR from device, like PS4

Subpar product, Constant Flickering, Very Poor Customer Service
Please go for Acer 32 inch 4K screen. Its much better compared to the product — EL2870U.I shall add a video of the flicker later but I bought the item and have used it for about 5 months now. There is constant flickering on the screen. The monitor is not capable of handling 1ms refresh rate as claimed. Also, the backlit is low, the colour reproduction doesn't match the desired quality. The customer service is beyond astonishing. Firstly, no easy to raise a complaint. Secondly, after multiple follow-ups they assign an engineer. The engineer is communicates rudely but attempts to fix the product. After 2 days, the issue reoccurs. Now, after raising another complaint, same engineer visits and escalates the complaint saying someone from BenQ will contact in 7 days. Its been over 21 days, no one called. I called the customer care again, got contact of a person — Sanjay. Called him, says he is not the right POC, got another contact — Rajkumar. Called him, he keeps repeating that the item replacement is in transit for more than 3 weeks. Finally, I asked for BluDart number, now I have to track whether these guys are actually telling the truth. The harassment you have to go through to follow up and get the service you were promised is insane. DO NOT buy the product. If you are lucky, you may get a functioning product, but if not, you are in for an adventure.

Very Good!
Very Good! It's working with my MacBook Pro 13 for my photography editing. The color is what you see is what you get, I mean the color you see is 95% the color you see on other gadgets, laptops and desktop (not perfect but excellent).

Perfect for general PC use if you want a high resolution (EL2870U)
I'm used to twin 21" HD monitors which were very nice, but mismatched. With a new PC build and a graphics card capable of showing 4k on two monitors without effort, these seemed a reasonable price.Assembly========The stand comes in 2 parts which need to be fixed together (tool-less) but strangely enough you need a screwdriver to properly fix this stand to the monitor (it will slot in but would come out if you lift the monitor up).Once built there's quite a bit of tilt backwards, and less so forwards. Enough for most desk setups. They aren't height adjustable though. The bezel isn't the smallest I've seen but doesn't look too bad with monitors side by side.Connections===========The display port, HDMI and power sockets are all on the back, pointing down. You'll need to turn the monitor over to clearly see them. There's no cable guide on the stand unfortunately.Controls=======The power button is underneath on the far right, and is subtly lit. You won't know if it's on or not if your eye height is above the mid-line of the screen. There is a small power logo in front of it.5 smaller buttons are next to this, and they are labelled on the front with just a dot. This is because you can configure them to be shortcuts for various functions. Initially pressing any one shows 4 options (Blue light, Picture Mode, Input Source and Menu). A small menu appears above them so it's easy to see what they do.There's a button on the front to select HDR mode and the adaptive brightness setting, where it darkens the screen if the room is dark.To be honest, with 2 monitors I'd rather set a profile up for my display card and change that rather than duplicate the operation on monitor controls. It's an easy interface to use though.Speakers========There are stereo speakers on each monitor. They are quite small and point downwards on the back. They aren't great quality, but are enough for general feedback. They are too tinny for music, think cheap phone quality level.Picture======Not having other 4K monitors to compare them with, and having such a bewildering array of modes, it's not easy to give a definitive verdict on the quality. All I can say is that the backlight appears to be uniform, the colours punchy and the resolution very crisp. At 60Hz there's no flicker, even in your peripheral vision. They look just as nice as my 49" Samsung 4KUHD TV.As with many monitors, the greater the viewing angle from 90 degrees the more the colour will change. It's not that pronounced in my opinion.I use these mainly for programming and photo editing. Text looks great and although smaller on a 4K resolution, still very readable. (If you have trouble with programs rescaling incorrectly, look at creating a manifest file in windows to sort out the offending application). Photo's look gorgeous, and it's easy to calibrate the screen to give a realistic output of what your printer would provide. These monitors can be very bright, and most people have them brighter than they should be anyhow. A little bit of time and you'll get used to how you've adjusted them and you can get wonderful results. Conclusion=========For possibly the cheapest 4K monitors on the market, they are certainly very good quality. You'd be hard pushed to really complain about anything on them, except maybe for gaming which I've not tried.
