Surprisingly good
Well built, solid construction. I strapped it on and the rubber bands hold it in place much better than expected. The light lasted 90 min on high my first ride out. The only disappointing thing was that the green charge indicators were still lit when the light suddenly went dark. I wouldn't normally ride on high beam the whole time, I was just testing the burn time. The lowest setting is more than enough light for climbing. On high beam, it throws a beam like daylight for 30+ yards. The battery pack straps snuggly on the top tube and the threaded connection is nice.Unbelievable deal at this price.

Super bright!!! Nice looking light!!!
This is a super bright light. Equal to or better than a car headlamp. So far battery has lasted to suit my needs I ride home nightly 30 to 40 min. I always have it on bright. The only problem so far was after using it for several nights without recharging it, the light went off with a dead battery without any warning or dimming of the light. It was on, then off. Recomend charging after every use.

Bright. Good value for money
I've had this light for several years. I've used it on rural roads, urban bike paths and streets in cities and suburbs. I estimate that it illuminates the road to a distance of about 35 meters/yards when on high. For the most part low is not much different on the darkest paths, perhaps 25 yards/meters. The "O" ring allowed the unit to physically move, however I put cork between the light and my handlebars and that problem has not returned. There are only three settings: high, medium and low. There is no flash setting on my unit.I found the value for the price to be excellent. The unit is four years old, I use it as both a night headlight and a running light. I've had no issues with the light. The batteries last about 2 1/2 hours between charges on low. I've replaced the batteries several times as their cycle life appears to be about 500. For most of this period I've been riding as a commuter, five times a week with a minimum commute of about 45 minutes each way. The light has a vampire issue, be sure to disconnect the power when not in use.I think of the batteries as a consumable supply that lasts about a season or more. I've had issues finding the correct battery. The technical description here gives a lot of information that isn't available through third-party sources. When you do replace the battery pack, match it exactly. That includes the button on the "+" pole as well as the indent that surrounds each unit. Here in the USA I've found that this battery type is often sold by vape shops!

Great light for my dirtbike
Extremely bright. External rechargeable Battery pack keeps the light from shaking the connection loose like in other lights with internal batteries. Easy to mount. it would be nice to have a hard mounting bracket for the light. But until then this will work out great

Reasonable for the price
First, positive comments:* This light is actually very well built. The battery is notably not at all well built (more on that below), but the light part is really pretty solid and well designed. Actually, better heat dissipation than most bike lights.* For the price, this light is about what you'd expect, or maybe a little worse, but certainly not terrible for the money. Now, the negative comments:I want to point out up front that this light is closer to the 500 lumen range. Not even close to 5,000 lumens. I knew that when I bought it, but I am still amazed by these sellers who are willing to misrepresent the performance of their products by an actual order of magnitude! That would be like buying a car advertised at 30 mpg to find out that it actually gets 3 mpg.Second point of contention with the advertising on this product is the claim that the battery is "waterproof". There is literally part of the exterior of the battery pack that is made of paper, under which is an exposed circuit board, and four ordinary LiPo batteries soldered together with exposed contacts. Again, something I knew going into this purchase, but insane false advertising none the less. The 3 LEDs in this lamp are supposedly Cree U2 series emitters. I suspect they are counterfeit, and therefore not likely to perform up to the rated capacity. But giving them the benefit of the doubt, those components are each rated to a maximum (short burst) brightness of just under 1,000 lumens, meaning that the theoretical maximum brightness of this light should be about 3,000 lumens. That would draw almost 30W of power, and if the battery specs are accurate, it would last about 20 minutes at that brightness (if the LEDs lasted that long). So, there isn't even a theoretical basis for claiming that this light is 5,000 lumens. I believe that the lumen rating would go up if the beam were tightly focused on one spot, but that's not the case, and it would be annoying anyway. So, this light is literally not capable of the advertised brightness under any circumstances.I don't have a means of quantitatively measuring luminous flux, but I measured the power draw of the light on high brightness. It turns out to draw about 700mA at 8.0V, or 5.6W of power. If that power is distributed across the 3 LEDs evenly, then each LED is getting about 700mA at around 2.7V, which is incidentally exactly the *minimum* rated performance of these LED's. If everything is up to the specs they claim, that should correspond to about 300 lm per emitter, or 900lm total. Comparing this light with my more expensive headlamp, which is rated at 900 lumens, I would estimate this one is about 400-500 lumens in total. My guess is that the manufacturers were wary of driving counterfeit LED chips at higher current, so they intentionally limited the power output.I mentioned counterfeit LEDs a few times above. I have no direct evidence that's the case in this product, but those components are notoriously common counterfeit items, and the brand name ones are a bit pricey, so I would honestly be surprised if they used genuine Cree emitters. All that said, the light itself is really solid. It's a simple and effective design, using a single piece of extruded aluminum, with well sealed end caps on the front and back. The heat dissipation is clever, with a thick aluminum plate backing all three LEDs, in solid contact with the outer housing. The housing itself has heat dissipation fins on the sides. There is a hole in the bottom where it attaches to the handlebar mount, but otherwise I have no doubt that the lamp part actually is waterproof. Also, all of the solder connections are solid, and the electronics look to be in good shape.Overall, I would not recommend this product. I'll be using it in combination with two other lights, and I like that it gives a wide, relatively uniform beam pattern to compliment the more direct light from the other two. If you're looking for a really bright light in this price range, my only other experience is with this one: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B081Z6MDWW/ which is easily 2-3 times as bright.

This is a great deal. The light is as bright as you ...
This is a great deal. The light is as bright as you would ever need. Three levels of intensity and we run at the lowest, which is almost too bright. Best light for the money. It is held on with essentially rubber bands which will fail after a time. That could be better but nevertheless, at this price, it is still worthwhile. Hope it lasts!
