My six year old niece wants to be a teacher, which is so refreshing in the age when kids want to be YouTube and TikTok stars. She absolutely loves this set. She plays teacher and student. It combines learning and play, which is great and gets kids away from the screen. She loves using her 4 year old brother as her student and he has a blast too. Great toy to get kids interested in an actual career that contributes to society and humanity. Toys like this give me hope that maybe our future society will not totally degenerate. It is a little flimsy, but it is still pretty much intact and they play with it a lot, so I’ve been told. The markers work great and erase well too.

My girls have done so many things with this toy. They are the perfect ages, 5 and 7. One is in school so she teaches and the other (and my husband and I) are students. Fun for her to be in “control”!There are multiple components to the toy. Very happy with this purchase..

Just what one would expect from Melissa & Doug. This set appears sturdy and has everything a young child dreams of having when playing school. I can just see my 9 year old granddaughter trying to come up with a lesson plan for her younger siblings, ages 1 and 3. The image alone is worth it, even though she will probably drive the younger ones to dread going to school when their time comes. The dry erase is a great idea in theory. But I can bet that after a few uses, nothing is going to completely erase. Kids don't usually get caught up in that, so it's a fine gift. Contains a lesson plan book, a school bell, tons of charts and workbooks, and the box turns into a pretend desk on one side.

This is a great toy for children who went to show their siblings or friends how school is supposed to be run. I love that it's so creative for them to make decisions on what they are going to study that day while walking in the shoes of the teacher. My granddaughter said that she didn't realize how much her teacher had to do to get ready for class every day and she's only in kindergarten!
