Brilliant (female review)
Really impressed with this. Used for the first time today.I have a large hedge at the end of my garden which is made up of several types of plant including holly and conifer, plus some really hardly thick stemed bushes I don’t know the names of. This piece of kit cut through everything with relative ease.Hedges are about 8ft high and easily managed across the top. Battery didn’t die once or any drop in power. The extending pole is great. It was also easy to put together. It is heavy but I’m a 5ft 4 woman and managed all the top and sides with a few breaks in between.Highly recommend.

Good value for money
Product seems good ,ideal for light trimming, quite heavy but a trimmer on the end of a long pole is never going to be light .But does the job.

Great device
I've had an electric hedge trimmer and a petrol-driven hedge trimmer and thought I would try a battery-powered one. So far, this has been an excellent buy. I've cut my hedges faster and with less effort than with either of the other trimmers. It is lightweight, at least compared to my petrol-driven machine, but it still requires a reasonable amount of effort when the arm is fully extended, although part of that may be age-related! It's very manouverable and I am able to reach a lot of low-hanging branches on trees. The battery-life seems good so far - up to half and hour and very quick charging. I put it on charge while I was clearing the cut branches and it was ready for use when that job was done.

A bit flimsy
This is my second hedge trimmer, so I have a point of comparison. While it does what it's meant to, the extension is a bit flimsy and wobbly and the trimmer is hard to manipulate and manage when on full extension as a result. Also the connection for the cutting head is easy to accidentally release and the electrical connection is two tiny prongs. I foresee potential issues with this possibly breaking further down the line. It wouldn't have been difficult to make this more robust without making it heavier. Also the release for the extension isn't strong. The weight is unbalanced when extended. Cheap for an extending trimmer for a reason.

Not lightweight at all!
I am used to using a normal hedge cutter but the bush I need to regularly trim is quite a bit taller than me and when using ladders they wobble on the uneven ground which is very unnerving when you live alone, I thought I’d try a long reach pair to make things easier, I looked at several types before deciding to try this one, it arrived quickly and looked ok but I noticed the box was heavier than I expected, upon opening there was no excess packaging so it was the machine that was heavy, when I put it together on my floor and then tried to lift it I found it was really top heavy, there’s no balance to it at all, all the weight is at the top of the machine and the additional hand grip is way too low down so no help at all, so you are trying to lift all the weight at an awkward angle, I tried my best (and I manage my normal hedge cutter perfectly well,) but I couldn’t get this one higher then my shoulder it was so awkward, it was obvious I wasn’t going to be able to use it for the purpose I bought it for so I returned it, the seller accepted the return with no issue which was great, but they do not pay for the return postage which was annoying as I do feel it’s mis-advertised, it cost me £8.00 to return it and I did have to chase the seller for my refund, but they did refund me the purchase price. I would not recommend this machine, unless you are tall and muscular you are not going to be able to use this.

It works! Amazing value for money
The next nearest battery power telescope clippers were twice the price (if you include a battery), so I was a little apprehensive to choose this over a mains version. Petrol is totally out of my range and not convenient. But this really works. It's powerful enough to cut 1cm thick branches. This represents amazing value for money - the caveat being I have only used it once. Cheap tools sometimes don't last. Most negative comments seem to relate to it being heavy or ungainly to use - but I can't imagine a powertool with this sort of reach could be otherwise.

Pole hedge trimmer, for the price conscious.
Item is as advertised, as others have said it is a little heavy, but appears to be well made. Assembled easily, so far well pleased. The Item was delivered on the day indicated, I received a text notifying me that delivery had taken place, but no sign of goods! I checked locally and found the goods had simple been left leaning against a neighbours door, in full view of the road. Satisfied with the item, but unhappy with the delivery!

Easy to use hedge trimmer
Battery charged quickly ,one red one green ,the other light symbols haven't lite to show how much charge there is.managed pole length, used the slanting head to shape shrub, balance is pretty good, i'm just over 5 feet petites, women good for the price, pleased its doing the job ,as this is a big site, stream on one side, a battery tool is more convenient ,yes would recommend
