I have heard so much about this man. The tenets of his recommendations for a better way to live are succinct and you have in one book what is needed to live a better life. However, I bought the book because it was his autobiography. He used these very principles to help himself to stand on his own two feet. Great combination: his life story, short and succinct, along with the principles of living a great life. Highly recommend it to anyone desiring to be the best he can be.

As with every book Og Mandino wrote and shared with the world, this one is just as amazing. I couldn't help to think about all his profound insights in this book and his other books, that he has inspired many well-known authors today. I wish the authors who have obviously and blatantly been inspired by Og Mandino would site him as an inspiration. Og shared freely about all those who inspired him. But I suppose that's why I like Og's company and he is a notch above the rest, because he didn't compete with others, he truly wanted everyone to know and operate from the greatness that God has placed in us all.

Being an MLM' er The Greatest Salesman is like mandatory reading. I enjoyed this more. I had never heard his history and the great depths from which he pulled himself. These 17 principles are not new, but he shared such great examples. ANYONE ca Live a Better Life. He makes it clear we all have the tools, implementation is a "choice".

Og Mandino was one of the finest writers of self-help books ever. In this one, like the others, he uses parables to help the reader understand that we all have choices in life. What we get out of life is what we put into it. Mr. Mandino wrote dozens of books, each one as moving as this one. You can't help from becoming a better person after reading this book, or any of his others. His death came way too early and he will be sorely missed.

Every young person should read this book! And everyone else too. There is no age limit on changing your life for the better.

Better Way to Live is really a great little keepsake. I am a big fan of Og Mandino and can honestly say that I have never read one of his books that can be categorized as bad.Og Mandino was able to tell his own story in a manner that was captivating and the 17 rules to live by are rules and life lessons that I will continue to practice to make myself a better man, father, professional and overall person.Great value! Great addition to my collection!! this little book is a must read for anyone that is feeling down, thinking that life has nothing in store for them. Everyday births a new day with unknowns, sometimes positive and some we perceive as negative but the negatives are in place just to strengthen and prepare you for your intended future.. Stay strong and never ever give up!!!
