Must have for notebooks
Works really well for moleskine notebooks. Does add a bit more thickness but not a huge problem

Excellent product
These are incredibly handy. On my third pack. I put them on notebooks and planners. They’re very robust. Never had a problem.

A more affordable option to keep your pens in place
I use a paper planner, a paper hardcover flip notebook, and a hardcover moleskin journal on a daily basis. This frequent use shows in the spine of each book, since I used to tie up the books with the pen inside like a bookmark. I've wanted to get pen loops, but I go through these notebooks so fast that $6 for one pen loop is absurd. This option is far more affordable, and works just as well. I have one in the front and one in the back of my planner, so I have two color options at the ready, and one if each of my other books. Overall they're great, with enough flexibility to hold a range of pens or mechanical pencils. I've stashed thin LePen brand pens in them, as well as thicker Pilot Varsity fountain pens and highlighters. My one complaint is that they're kind of thick, which creates a small gap in the notebook, almost like a pocket. This makes for a much, much stronger grip, but it doesn't resolve my notebook gap problem. All the same, if I have to choose between a gap and potentially losing a pen because of flimsy glue, I'll take the gap. I'll order these again when I run out, without question.

Great quality. Good buy. Love them. ADHD tool.
Very good buy. Feel great quality. Love the leather like base and variety of colors to accent the books I use them on. So nice to be able to keep a pencil with my notebooks and not have to go looking for one when I finally take the time to write what I need to. Must have for my ADHD brain.

Yep, these are fantastic for handwritten journals or binders
I balked at the price, at first…I have been considering a DIY solution to the “where is my pen?!” problem and knew I could make something like these. But, who has the time for messing around with trying out elastic and adhesives? It turns out that I did not. So, just buy these and fix your pen/pencil problem asap.As the product description says, the elastic loop size is not really large enough for fitting a standard larger barreled sharpie in the elastic loop, but regular pens (especially those without the clips on the side) work great. Very secure/snug.To install these, I recommend first putting a pen in the loop, before you take off the adhesive back and stick it down in place. It will help you see where the writing implement will ‘sit’ in the fore edge (the thickness/width of the notebook pages).I also have another one in a three-ring binder, to hold sheet music and a pencil.I recommend adhering these somewhere in the INSIDE BACK cover of your journal or notebook. I sometimes put them at the top of the notebook, instead of the side, depending on how I plan to store the notebook. But putting the adhesive on the inside helps keep the outside cover smooth and free from obstruction.

Very sticky and strong; careful of placement!
These work better than expected. The sticky backing is very strong and doesn't wiggle at all.Be careful of your placement before you stick it down, or you won't be able to move it! Honestly, that's a compliment to the product's sturdiness and adhesive qualities, but you've been warned ;)The pen loop is thick and holds my pen with no slippage or movement, but can also make it stiff. This means I need to sometimes pull the top of the loop open in order to feed my pen through, but once it's in I have no worries about it coming out. I've been using it on my daily journal for about 1 month, maybe more, and the edges of the loop are starting to warp/fray with usage. It's not an issue for me (unless it starts loosening up enough to not hold the pen anymore) -- not sure if that will happen in near future or not.The only thing I'm not sure about is whether I'll want to have the pen loop on there when it comes time to retire the book and store it away, because I can't remove it without tearing the inside backing of the book (except for maybe unpicking the threads on the loop to remove it).If you're not so worried about wanting to adjust/remove the loop when you're done with it, I'd recommend buying this set because I haven't felt the need to go out and look for something different since using it.

Pens with non-slip surface will not go into loop.
Good value, sticks well to journal, sturdy. However, if there's non-slip surface anywhere on the pen, no matter the size of the pen, it get's stuck and will not slide into the loop. Most of my pens have non-slip surface either at bottom or top. A pen with a slick surface all the way up and down the pen body will go in loop ok, as long pen is not too fat.
