My favorite headlamp.
I own multiple headlamps, but I think I'm done looking. The strap has a nice firm stretch to it and the lamp molds to my head well. It is kind of front heavy compared to my smaller black diamond or my lamp that has the battery pack in the back. (They make a rear battery pack but it has bad reviews) The light settings are; dim which is about equal to 1 candle, enough light to see what you're doing and have the batteries last a long time, medium which is right between the low and bright, the bright setting is a very nice and bright the light and has a big circle, the light is somewhat more heavily centered. I actually like that because that is where I'm always looking. It also has the 900 lumen light that last for a little bit before it turns back to high. You hold the power switch for a few seconds to turn it off or short press the button to change the settings. The light is on the white side (not blue or yellowish). The charger is pretty nice and includes a 120v or 12v car charger that lets you charge the lithium batteries. The batteries included are of quality and I'm very impressed with the 18650 style. It is a big battery (same size as two 123A batteries) but still very light for it's size. The construction of the headlamp is aluminum and very good qualityUpdate* 2.5 years later and still loving this headlamp. Highly recommended.

Great light that doesn't break the bank
Got this as a Christmas gift and I love it. I've only wore it on one run thus far, but I liked the spread of the light beam and the brightness adjust-ability. I like the strap you can attach over the top of your head. It's removable if you don't want it, but it means I don't have to cinch the sides down as tight to hold it on my head while running.All the extra batteries is a great bonus.I'll update this review if I have any negative issues. No update means I'm still happy.

It's like having someone following you around with a couple of floodlights. Comfortable very powerful.If you use it inside it lets you see everythingAll the dirt and dust you missed even after you have thought you had cleaned even in the daytime .Great for looking at paint etc
