Several people have mentioned the hooks bending or warping... they are clearly putting too much weight on the hooks. This is a light/medium duty hook set. There's no weight rating that I've found, so keep that in mind.DO: buy this set for lightweight items. The tool brackets work great for holding brooms/plastic rakes. The hose holder DOES work for lighter soaker hoses and extension chords. The larger hooks are currently folding our baby stroller just fine. The smaller hooks are supporting lightweight camping gear and folding chairs without any issues.DO NOT: buy this set for heavy duty use. The hooks most likely will not hold a heavy bike. The tool brackets will not support a freakin sledge hammer. The hose holder will not support a 50ft heavy duty water hose.Be realistic about what a $4 30-piece hook set can accomplish. If you need a simple, cheap aid in organizing your garage, this is more than a bargain. If you're smart about how you use the hooks/brackets, and have realistic expectations, you won't be disappointed.

As other reviewers have noted, these hooks are smaller than you would think. They're about 2/3rds the size of the standard sized hooks you can find in home improvement stores. This means they're also kind of flimsy.This was OK for my application, I purchased both these smaller hooks and larger ones from another brand, so I use the larger ones for heavier duty stuff, and these for smaller things.One aspect of these that I use a lot are the nails that have the rubberized coating on them. Surprisingly useful for hanging stuff off of, like saw blades, grinder disks, etc. Anything that you would normally just hang off a nail or screw.The rest of the hooks are OK. Just don't expect to hang a 20lb extension cord, tool, ladder, etc. off of them. I use them mostly to hang relatively lightweight battery powered tools off of and they work fine for that.

A few of the hooks are not very sturdy, but as a whole this kit contains a good mix of different types of hooks to figure out what you need and what you like... then you can go buy those separately from Stalwart. The thin red rubber on the "nail" looking hooks will easily tear when trying to hammer them into a wall with a normal hammer. I recommend using a mallet or placing something between the nail head and hammer.

These are nice looking rubberized utility hooks. At a glance they look like lighter-weight versions of some more expensive hooks for sale on Amazon, at somewhat higher prices. However, this is the dollar-store version, and you get what you pay for. I installed two of the U hooks to hang lighter-weight tools, including a medium size claw hammer. To my surprise, the U-hook snapped from the minimal stress caused by hanging an ordinary tool from it! When the pieces came apart I could see that the the U hook is composed of two pieces of metal: one of them is a common screw, the other is a U shaped piece of stiff wire. They are not spot-welded together, in fact nothing connects or holds them together except the red rubberize sleeve!. You can actually see the head of the screw lurking under the rubber gasket when you click to zoom in on the product photo!Amazing! This must have seemed like a good idea to somebody, but it makes absolutely no sense in the real world. The rest of the many hooks and hangers in this assortment seem to be more solidly manufactured, but I will update if anything else falls apart.

As other reviewers mentioned, these are chintzy. Based on the reviews, I knew I wouldn't be using many of the hooks in this set. I found half of the items usable and the other half garbage. Some of the "garbage" might work great for others who have specific small items to hang. I wanted to pick through to find hooks that would be usable to hang/organize the beach stuff my wife and kids use regularly in the summer (chairs, towels, beach bag, toys...). Some of the tool holders just aren't sturdy enough for most of my tools. I think this set is worth the cheap price though.

This is a great variety pack but I must tell you that they are smaller diameter than some of the ones you get at the hardware store (at least the threads are). As a consequence, I wouldn't put as much weight on them as I would the store ones unless they are in a stud. In that case, I'd trust them completely. All the same, it's a great variety pack and helped me set up the garage at our new house. Would buy again.

While these were a great price, they're not really the best quality hooks. I suppose you get what you pay for - here's what I mean:* Two of the hooks broke while being screwed in* The hooks are more flexible than you might want, limiting how much weight you can hang on themStill, for the price, they did the job I needed in my garage, which was hanging the basic snow shovels, brooms, etc. If you need to hang bikes or ladders or anything heavier, best to get some more industrial strength hooks.

My husband has built a "Fishing Room" in his shop. He needed this kind of hook package in order to hang long fishing poles from the ceiling, spare reels from the shelving and all manner of fishing line spools on their separate hooks. I hope I bought enough, three sets seemed to be about right, but after seeing how he is doing this room, I'm not so sure. If I need more, I will buy again. These are very light weight hangers and will not hold up much on their own. That makes them nearly perfect for his fishing gear, especially the light weight poles and reels.

bought this due to the low price. but turns out it was exactly what I was looking for. was going originally purchase those garage wall organizers for $120. but figured to give this a shot. Hook up my bike, electric snow blower, ladder, electric lawn mower, shovels, hose, extension cord, and other various tools. this product saved me a lot of money, and saved a lot of garage space, I recouped approx. 15% of my garage back, now I can fit both cars in. It also came with a sheet that tells you the weight load for each hook. ( very useful )Definitely recommend this product!will add photos later.

The gauge of metal is not what i expected my give way if haver tools are hung on the hooks , should be hopefully fine if i hang lighter smaller hand tool on . I will go to build all place to get the haver hooks for the the haver tools cross your fingers hooks do not give way falling on the car.I
