NailtiquesProtein Nail Lacquer Unisex Nail Polish, No.316 Havana, 0.33 Ounce

After using Formula 2 and 2Plus, I finally have nails I am happy to use color on. This is my first Nail Lacquer purchase, and I chose Tahiti. It is a beautiful bright summery hot pink. I love the brush, as the polish glides on smoothly with it. I did not have any streaks or problems with the polish. It wasn't too thick or too thin. It dries quickly, but I also use a fast drying coat after the second coat of polish, just to make sure I don't ruin my manicure.As I just applied it today, I don't know how long it will last.. but I will come back and update this to let you know. I am hard on my hands and nails. I've only had luck with one other polish brand that lasts me 2 full weeks without chipping (Sally Hansen Miracle Gel).Due to the new and continuing growth of beautiful nails that I have thanks to Nailtiques, I want to stick with a product that nurtures my nails. I have heard good reviews on the polish lasting.. hope it does. Can't wait to buy more colors.. there were a few that I wanted. Thanks Nailtiques for an excellent product. Please keep making new, beautiful colors.

I bought two colors: San Tropez and Cairo. First, San Tropez is not such a great color; it goes on too white. Personally, I don't like to wear a real color on my fingers (I work in a pretty conservative sort of field where if you're traipsing around with bold nail polish, it's declasse, so I keep the dark reds and whatnot for my toes), so you put this on and it looks like all the blood drained out of your fingertips. Cairo is a nice color, though; it's pretty low-key.One bottle showed up and it was way too thick. I had some Formula Fix on hand, and it took a lot to get it to a decent consistency. The other one was a normal consistency, so beware of product quality.The other problem is that it doesn't "flood" well. It goes on very unevenly and looks streaky, and then when you try to fix it, you get bare spots and it's just a mess.I love the Nailtiques Formula 2 and the cuticle oil, so here's hoping that they put out a new and improved version of the nail color, but as is, I can't recommend it.

Really appreciate the protein in the Nailtiques products, always a plus for my dry brittle nails and the colors are current with a quality nail brush for easy application.

San Tropez is much lighter than I expected. I find it more like a super translucent white-tan-pink, rather than the perfect pale pink some described. It takes many coats to cover, and sadly for me, it doesn't stay on my chipping/peeling nails--even for an evening out. Of course my chipping and peeling nails are why I use Nailtiques products in the first place. (Nailtiques Pro Protein Formula 2 Plus, specifically. It doesn't change my terrible nails, but painting on a layer everyday or every other day--until it gets thick and easily peels off--does add strength and permits some nail growth as long as I use it faithfully.) I had hoped Nailtiques brand lacquer would be the one colored polish I could use, but no such luck. Alas!

Want your polish to last 2 weeks? Nailtiques products are fabulous! I am 65 years old,and never had decent nails until 2 years ago when I started using Nailtiques. (You must follow directions exactly while getting your nails into good condition.) Once your nails are in good shape, you can start using color. While it is pretty widely known that their Formula 2 and 2 Plus are very effective, no one has acknowledged that their colored enamels are the longest lasting ever- usually 2 weeks for me. I use one coat of Formula 2 or 2 Plus as a base coat, 2 coats of Nailtiques color enamel, and one coat of Formula One as a top coat. I apply a coat of Formula 2 every night. I get two weeks out of a manicure with no chipping, as well as strong, healthy nails! No need for gel manicures!

Great as a strengthening coat, even better with color! Color is very pigmented with full coverage in 2 coats. Minimal chipping. Comparable quality to my other favorite brand Zoya but with the added benefit of Nailtique peptides to keep my nails strong. Love it! The only problem is the limited number of color to choose from. Hope Nailtique can expand its color selection.

Bought this for my wife. She was looking for a white nail polish. This is more like a silver color, and doesn't give an even coat. It looks like cheap streaks of paint when you apply it. Couldn't return it according to the seller. Waste of money.

It applied very nicely. Took too long to dry and smugged easily. Did last more than a week before coming off.
